Meltdown - Part 1

Guns out.

Car blows.

Two versus eight.

Four bullets, seven dead.

Swords out.

The swords clash.

Two swords against two.

Two swords taken.

Four swords, one neck.

Few questions.

Attempt at escape in vain.

Stabbed.

Undisclosed Location, London, Britain. October 4th, 2027.

The house was rather a joyful one. Two children, both girls - being sisters of each other. Their parents, the sister of the father, and a relatively young boy as well. And they were more than it seems. A big enough family, and an incredibly skillful crime and terror fighting team. Faced with dangers almost all the time, as it seemed.

At the time mentioned, all three children and the rest of the family were joyfully playing, and the children silently receiving training for their dark future.

“Shh, strike now, Lucy. Don’t let ‘em, especially Paul, know the plan,” the younger sister, Anne Stallinton, said to the elder. She was pretty good at making plans after all.

Anne moved forward, letting herself in. At that moment, Lucy Stallinton striked, shooting a soft bullet at Victoria Stallinton, their aunt, essentially removing her from the game since she had already been weakened. She landed a last soft bullet at Lucy before “dying”, that is, being removed from the battle. Unfortunately for the two sisters, their younger brother Paul had anticipated it. He shot a bullet at Anne’s gun, taking it while also entering in code to deactivate Lucy’s gun.

None of the sisters had guns now, and the four year old Paul had two. The sisters knew what to do here - Lucy used the gun to physically fight, removing Paul’s own gun out his hand. She landed three bullets successfully, but just as she was about to land the fourth, required to win, electricity out. The guns couldn’t work thus.

“Meltdown…?” Steve said, guessing a cause for the shutdown.

“Wait what? Meltdown? Project Meltdown? What have you to do with that?” the younger Anne, having caught the word, said.

Opening a laptop, she showed a top secret file, Project Meltdown. She opened it, and knowing the password, was going to type it now. However, eerie voices started coming from the laptop. The battery symbol was going haywire.

“Hello, Steve. Shut that laptop down now! If you want to know who this is, it’s F1 and Cakestall. Just shut that down or it’s gonna blow up, taking all of you with it!” an outsider voice came into Steve and Victoria’s hidden microphones.

Steve hurriedly moved forward, trying to shut the laptop down, but it simply wouldn’t. It was stuck.

“Stall, override Project Meltdown, now! The laptop can’t be shut down, so we have to override,” someone said outside the house - the same voice from earlier.

Cakestall, as mentioned, quickly pressed the override button. At another place, someone said, “Damn it, Stall’s overridden the project! Get here and do it yourself so you have its control! HURRY, F2!”

Stall successfully overrode the project, preventing the explosion but also removing the Project Meltdown file. Anne took it back, noticing the removal.

“Did you just delete the file? You know it was very important. How can we retrieve the files now?”

“The founders of the team have the key to retrieve the project, don’t worry,” Steve replied.

“But, who?” she asked. Then she looked back at the screen - another file, nothing like Meltdown, but rather named “Secret Information - The Stallintons - Projects and Other”.

Oh no. Can’t let Lucy get hold of THAT.
