Please refer to the Help Site article: How to clean Tanki Online clients cache?

Hello tanker,
you have been wondering that, Tanki Online client is giving us extraordinary performance but you want to clear the cache. Maybe you have tried, of reinstalling but that doesn't works right? I also tried, and yet I thought of any other solution. I was just roaming around my PC, and, guess what I found? A proper way to clear Tanki Online client cache!

Now let's come to the answer;
1. Open a application called "Run". It's very simple. Press Win+R or simply search in the start box.

2. Once you done that, search for %appdata% in that Run. It will open a folder, where you'll see your Adobe, Macromedia etc.

3. There you'll see a folder called TankiOnline. Just delete it. Make sure you permanently delete it, otherwise it won't work. To permanently delete it, press Shift+Delete.

And that's it!
If any problem occurs, please PM me, or let me know.
Enjoy! :)

Technically clearing the cache shouldn't be necessary but still useful if something goes wrong.

And to permanently delete you press, Shift+Delete.  ;)

This is not a solution... It's a good to know but this is Tanki's infrastructure, network/servers causing the bottlenecks and therefore lagging... with all the money they making... upgrade your bloody infrastructure!!!!!!!

No its a solution but it will only fix issues tied to your machine don't help with server issues (Obviously)

Is really that folder the Tanki cache?

Yes. That is the Tanki Clients Cache, it holds Ignore lists, login info, saved custom controls and other misc data. Deleting it  will remove that data, clearing out any corrupt pieces. Its not even labeled as e.g. Remember login its some long encrypted random text like E6dewskeds obviously that is a security thing.

I use AppData - Its actually not cache (working on my browser project http://beffsbrowser.tk TANKI IS NOT compatible with it it won't load for some reason) anyhow I use te Appdata section of a users machine to store favorites history and other data.

They don't call it cache according to some Senior coders I talked to on a forum, but it is data. So technically it is cache sort of its so they don't have to store that information on the server they use your webbrowser's cache to do the very same thing.

And are you sure if deleting it... Wouldn't affect the client negatively?

It does not affect the way the client works, just as clearing your browser cache won't affect how the browser works. It will result in longer loading times right after you've cleared the cache though, but that will sort itself out after a couple of loads.

I did forget to mention some update files were held in the same folder xD Usually it takes up to 10 min for everything to reload, it has to create that folder, and do everything you are doing, and do it behind the code as well.

Hi,When i open my client the loading show up after 1 sec the client goes all white. :(  i did  remove the cache and fully uninstalled,

Try using CCleaner.
The procedure takes a few seconds and you do not need to go to the settings of your browser. You can download CCleaner here.
Once the installation is complete, open the program and click the Applications tab. Find your browser there and check the Internet Cache and Cookies boxes, click “Run Cleaner.”
