Art of perspective

 

STOP. Stop it. Everything. Just stop it and keep calm. Keep calm. Calm. Keep your music on. Look at the screen. Calmly. Breath slowly. Don’t move. Move your eyes slowly on this text. Slowly. Put yourself in a virtual bubble. Apart from the outside world. Apart from influence. You are a stone. A still standing stone. Now close your eyes.

 

If you’re reading this, it means you re-opened your eyes or didn’t close them at all. Do it now. Again.

 

Who are you? You are one. One, among quintillion of others. One what? One human. One human among billions of others. One. No more. One, and still it seems like you are more. It seems like you are “a” human. Doesn’t it?

So we know who you are. But… what… are you? There’s no other answer than “a human”, is there? I’d say there is more. Or maybe less. You are one human. One human. One answer to two questions. To both the questions “What are you” and “Who are you”, the answer will be “One human”. Calm. Slow down.

 

The funny thing about it… Is that the answer is a constant. For everyone, the answer bill be the same. Exactly the same. One human. To the question “Who are you?” the same answer “One human” coming from different people. For both the questions “What are you” and “Who are you” asked to anyone, the answer will be “One human”. Slow down.

 

But…when does it start to differ? When do humans start do differ? In depth. If you start to dig, you’ll find difference. Many. An infinite numbers of differences. Although the title is on the left, it remains a title. If you asked me questions concerning the title before reading this text, I’d have told you I put one. If you dig further, I’ll tell you what it says. If you dig further, I’ll tell you its colour. If you dig even further, I’ll tell you I put it on the left. And so far we already have quite a lot of different possibilities of titles, don’t we? Keep calm.

 

But people do mistakes. Yup, a lot of them too. I just did one. In the upper paragraph. Well now it’s not really a mistake anymore, but whatever. At first it was a mistake. Believe me. But then I thought about it again and figured I wouldn’t change it. No, because it fits well. It fits better. It popped by itself and helped me in what I wanted to do. But I made it pop… Didn’t I? Am I not the one making mistakes? It popped by itself while I made it pop… Which is right? If you want my answer, I’d say it doesn’t pop at all. It’s already there. There to help you. Inside you. Deep. And you know what you need to get a clear perspective on them? Dig. But why would one dig when all questions always have the same answer in the end? You tell me.
