Hello Tankers

If you are playing Tanki Online on Mac, you might currently be experiencing issues with running the game on certain browsers. This is due to a recent update of the Flash Player for Mac.

Our tests have shown us that the problems come up mostly when playing on Safari and Firefox. For this reason, we suggest you try using the Chrome browser if you’re experiencing any problems.

In the meantime, the Flash Player developers team are already aware of this bug, and have informed us that these issues have appeared not only for Tanki Online but also other programs. They have assured us that they will be fixing this issue in upcoming updates.

We’ll keep you updated.

Thank u for finally addressing this issue - I have tried CHROME  before w/out success but I will try again w/ your new prompt. I have tried many fixes w/ FIREFOX/CHROME/OPERA/SAFAIR-STANDALONE--none have worked. I have commented on another thread but I want to ad this jpeg because this one worries me that it may be a phishing prompt. Anyone know this pics origins? Is it a phish?

Are you sure it's Flash Player? I have lag issues in other games such as Rocket League even though my ping is 5. Maybe the problem is on Apple's side, as I've asked many Mac users who downloaded the recent update and which caused problems for all of them… But I don't know. For now I'm playing on Flash Player but have to agree it makes by fps bad.

I will test it out when I get my computer back. My Mac is under repair for a new keyboard.

Uhh Cedric, I wouldn't agree with you there. Chrome is absolute rubbish with Tanki and gives me like 20 FPS (when I normally get 60) and gives overly high Pings. I strongly recommend downloading and playing on Opera, much better.

Linux rocks, both Apple AND Windows suck.

Apple sucks. Mac and OSX don't. I can understand why you think apple sucks based off of their mobile products. OSX has a unix command line and a much prettier, more organized GUI then linux. But even still, linux is a god compared to windows.

I belive many of you have problems launching chrome (it writes error not found chrome). If you want to fix it its easy

1. Click right on google shortcut

2. Open file location

3. Find google.exe and try to turn it on

4. If it doesnt work rename to google.exe.exe

5. Make shortcut again and chrome will be fixed!
