Overview

Skyscraper is that one map that really stands out from the rest of the maps and has very special characteristics
It is a big map that supports many players.

Named by the many tall houses and is easily recognized by the tall Skyscraper in the edge of the map. Gives you a withering experience that you really are high up in the sky.

The map has plenty of different paths to explore, but be careful so you don't fall into the abyss!

This map isn't very popular and is rarely seen in servers.
More common in lower ranks than higher ranks.

Through the Ages

Skyscrapers is a newer version of the old Tanki online map "Abyss".

That means that Skyscraper is a pretty new map.

Strategies and Tips

Skyscrapers is available in all game modes, and i will give you some Tips and Strategies on how to lead you and/or your team toVictory.

Deathmatch

This map provides many covers to sneak around on this map but also a lot of diffrent paths. In this Mode i recommend not to be too aggressive, more the other way around. You want to be on your guard and look after the enemy so you don't get attacked from behind. When you spot an enemy you take him down. Note: Always be on the move! Otherwise, you will be a high-value target for a Shaft or a Railgun.

If you want to play a little more aggressive you must take advantage of the covers this map gives you. Trick the enemy by choosing a path that the enemy doesn't think you will use. Sneak up from behind and boom, you got 1 extra kill to your score.

Recommended Combinations

For playing Defensive in DM:

You are all about keeping an eye on the enemy but still be on the move. Therefore, I strongly  reccomend any of those hulls

Hulls

Viking - Best in my opinion, Viking because it got good amount hitpoints but still pretty fast

150px-Hull_vicing_m0.png

Dictator - My second favorite, strong but still fast. Easy to catch golds too, if you are a goldhunter

150px-Hull_dictator_m0.png

Titan - If you prefer more hit points but reduced speed this is for you, Together with Vulcan this is deadly!

150px-Hull_titan_m0.png

Mammoth - This is a beast if used correctly and together with Vulcan and other long range turrent this will become the enemies new nightmare!

150px-Hull_mammoth_m0.png

NOTE: Lighter Hulls can be a problem from playing a Defensive playstyle but if you are skilled enough dodging enemy shots then it can work.

Turrets:

NOTE: You choose yourself what kind of Hull you want to use the turret with, but I recommend any of theese Turrets:

Vulcan: A real beast in DM due to it long range and no reload, be careful so you don't overheat!

Vulcan0.png

Railgun - Due to it's high damage and long range this fits really well on this map and it can do some insane damage.

150px-Turret_railgun_m0.png

Smoky - The fast reload makes it up for the average damage on this turret, Be aware of the damage drop-off at range though.

150px-Turret_smoky_m0.png

Thunder - High damage and average reload, it has damage drop-off but not as much as Smoky.

150px-Turret_thunder_m0.png

Shaft - Extreme damage and the ability to aim down a sight, can do serious work on this map but don't be a sitting duck!

150px-Turret_shaft_m0_2.png

For playing Aggresive in DM:

All about staying out of the enemies aim and be sneaky, therefore I recommend those Hulls and Turrets

Hulls

Hornet: This is a fast but deadly opponent. Favourite in tankers tankers garage, and can do some serious business.

150px-Hull_hornet_m0.png

Hunter: A really strong and balanced Hull that is really powerful, Don't laugh at it, it may be your doom

150px-Hull_hunter_m0.png

Viking: This beast can work good as both as aggresive and defendsive!

150px-Hull_vicing_m0.png

NOTE: Viking is sometimes a little bit too slow to escape the enemy, But it is all about your own skills.

Turrets

Ricochet - Multiple projectiles with decent damage and the ability to ricochet the projectiles on walls and objects makes this a perfect turrent for this map.

150px-Turret_ricochet_m0.png

Smoky - Good all-around weapon due to it fast reload.

150px-Turret_smoky_m0.png

Thunder - High damage and avarage reload, Splash ability is also very useful.

150px-Turret_thunder_m0.png

Hammer - Really high damage per round and ability to hit multiple enemies close to eachother makes this a really good Turret, be aware that this turrent have limited range.

Hammer_m0.png

Team Deathmatch & Capture the Flag

The objective is to end up with the most amount of kills and the team with the most kills win.

In this Gamemode it is good to be both aggresive and defensive. The best way to do that is to communicate with your team and split up in diffrent roles.

Recommended Cominations

Defender - Your job is to defend you team and be a support by dealing damage mostly at long range therefore it is these Turrets and Hulls

Hulls

Viking - Good at being defensive but can go a little bit aggresive aswell.

150px-Hull_vicing_m0.png

Dictator - Strong and reliable Hull.

150px-Hull_dictator_m0.png

Titan - Really good at being defensive with lots of hitpoints and reduced speed.

150px-Hull_titan_m0.png

Mammoth - Good at staying at base and taking down enemies at far.

150px-Hull_mammoth_m0.png

Turrets

Vulcan - Recommended being mounted on a Titan or Mammoth due to the high hit points with a turret with overheat. Good if isida heals you.

Vulcan0.png

Railgun - High damage and good at taking down enemies from range, recommended with Viking.

150px-Turret_railgun_m0.png

Shaft - Exellent at dealing damage across the map and ability to aim down sight, works best with heavy Hulls.

150px-Turret_shaft_m0_2.png

Freeze - One freeze is good to have at base due to the reason that it can freeze the enemy so it goes slower, letting the teamates finish him off before he escapes with the flag

150px-Turret_freeze_m0.png

Attacker - Your duty on the battlefield is to deal damage to the enemies from Medium-Close range therefore i recommend these Turrents and Hulls.

Hulls

Hornet - Fast and agile makes this hull exellent for getting up close range and destroy the enemy, Good with Freeze, Firebird and Hammer.

150px-Hull_hornet_m0.png

Hunter - Good all-around and is really good together with Ricochet, Twins and Smoky.

150px-Hull_hunter_m0.png

Viking - Good mounted together with a Smoky or Hammer for a agressive playstyle.

150px-Hull_vicing_m0.png

Wasp - Fast n' Deadly makes it perfect to deliver flags with a short-medium range turrent

Turrets

Smoky - Strong due to fast reload and average damage per shot.

150px-Turret_smoky_m0.png

Ricochet - Fits good in this map due to the projectiles can bounce on the surroundings

150px-Turret_ricochet_m0.png

Firebird - High damage and after burn effect makes this really good at close range

150px-Turret_firebird_m0_2.png

Freeze - Freeze effect makes it hard for the enemy to hit you if you get up close and personal, don't forget that you can cool down your burning teamates and Vulcan

150px-Turret_freeze_m0.png

Twins - Low damage per shot but no reload makes it good at medium-close range, limited range.

150px-Turret_twins_m0.png

Hammer - High damage in close range makes it good to take down multiple enemies within'  short distances

Hammer_m0.png

Healer - Your job is to heal your teamates by using Isida.

150px-Turret_isida_m0.png

Hulls

Isida works best with light Hulls but can work with medium hulls as well, I recommend any of these:

Wasp

150px-Hull_wasp_m0.png

Hornet

150px-Hull_hornet_m0.png

Hunter

150px-Hull_hunter_m0.png

Control Points

Diffrent objectives spread around the map, Your teams duty is to capture those objectives and earn points from them. The team with the most points at the end of the Battle, Wins.

In this gamemode you can use the equipment as in TDM or CTF, but in CP you shoud focus more on defending and healing your teamamtes then attacking. After you captured a point it is good if you have some Defenders there to defedn that point so the enemies can't achieve Victory. I recommend more then one Isida in this gamemode to heal up the Defenders.

Tips

If you are the Blue team - Your team got the highground, make use of that! You got the tower that you can put a shaft and you have much better view of the enemy team then they got of you! Catch as fast as they reaches your line of fire!

If you are the Red team - You may not have the high ground but your team have much more paths that leads up to the enemy base, Make use of that and choose a strategic path that you will surprise the enemy team. Catch them offguard!

Work on the following:

- Format: Should be consistent, not varied.

- Proofreading: Proofread your articles before posting. Seems like a lot of typos were found.

- Font: Again, use one font, with the choice of a second one for headings/sub-headings.

Please edit it.

Still there is written "turrent"

Smoky - The fast reload makes it up for the average damage on this turrent, Be aware of the damage drop-off at range though.

You should always look over your writing before posting, rule of thumb.
