Last Saturday 17th December at 17:00 UTC, our Masters of Parkour finalists took to the arena for a show of crazy stunts and tense competition. The contest lasted over two hours, and during that time, our contestants called on all their skill, imagination and luck to perform three challenging parkour stunts faster, better and more creatively than their adversaries.

 

All the teams gave a great show, but as in any contest, there had to be winners and losers. You can find the complete ranking below:

Also, in view of the high standards in this year’s contest, we’ve decided to throw in something extra with the rewards, so here’s the list of updated prizes:

 

1st place: 1 week of Premium, 50 000 crystals, 50 units of each supply, 20 gold boxes, Spider S-A* resistance module with 50% mine resistance.

2nd place: 1 week of Premium, 30 000 crystals, 30 units of each supply, 15 gold boxes, Spider S-A* resistance module with 50% mine resistance.

3rd place: 1 week of Premium, 20 000 crystals, 20 units of each supply, 10 gold boxes, Spider S-A* resistance module with 50% mine resistant.

Remaining finalists: 1 week of Premium, 10 000 crystals and 5 gold boxes each.

Consolation prize winners: 1 week of Premium, 5 000 crystals, and 5 gold boxes.

The Best Solo Parkourist: 1 week of Premium, 10 000 crystals, and 5 gold boxes.

 

All of these prize winners (including consolation prize winners and Best Solo Parkourist) will receive the unique paint “Master of Parkour 2016”, which will remain in their garages forever.

 

Tomorrow, the Master of Parkour paint will be removed from all garages except those of prize winners, who will also receive the 1 week of Premium. The remaining rewards will be handed out at the conclusion of the contest.

 

As announced, the final will be live streamed on Thursday 8th Saturday 10th December on our official Youtube channel. Exact times will be announced later.

 

IMPORTANT: A representative of each of the finalist teams is urgently requested to contact Cedric Debono (the English Community Manager) via PM so that arrangements for the final can start being made.

Tankers!

 

It’s time to pull off some amazing tricks — the Masters of Parkour contest is here ! If you’re enough of a daredevil, you can win crystals, supplies (including gold boxes), resistance modules, and the Master of Parkour 2016 unique paint. Interested? Keep reading!

 

The contest consists of two phases — the qualifying round and the final.

 

• The qualifying phase is open to any tanker ranked WO-1 and higher. Participants need to organize a team of up to 4 members, and shoot a cool parkour video. The video needs to be uploaded to Youtube, and the link submitted through this special form. After the first phase of the contest, the jury will pick the TOP-ten teams to be the finalists.

• The final will take place online on the Tanki Online International Youtube channel. Finalists will need to perform parkour tricks in time-challenge mode. The fastest, and most precise will win.

 

The jury will judge based on the following criteria:

• Respect for the contest rules

• Showiness and difficulty of tricks

• Recording and editing quality

 

And now, some details about the contest:

• All team members must have a minimum rank of Warrant Officer 1 to take part in the contest. The Parkour Master paint is only available for the rank of Warrant Officer 1 or higher.

• The parkour team should consist of not more than 4 tankers. The team can decide whether the video is to be shot by a team member or an independent cameraperson.

• Contest entries must be uploaded to Youtube. Video links are to be submitted via this special form. When posting your video, make sure you post the nicknames of all the team members (not more than 4 members). If the team wins, only the specified players will get the reward.

• The video must be shot exclusively for this contest. Videos made earlier will not be accepted. To prove that your video is exclusive, all members of your team must be equipped with the “Master of Parkour 2016” paint. Once the qualifying round is over, the paint will be removed from all garages, except for those of the finalists. Winners will keep the paint forever.

• Your video must not be longer than 60 seconds. Videos longer than 60 seconds will be automatically disqualified.

• The nicknames of the participants in a team must be clearly readable on the video.

• The video cannot contain any violation to the Game Rules.

• A participant can only be part of one team.

• The rights of using contest videos are described in point 7.4 of the EULA.

 

Interesting facts!

 

• This time we’ll be adding a new Master of Parkour paint. The old one will remain in the garages of last year’s winners, and that’s how the mechanism will work from now on.

• There are two versions — the International one (EN/DE/PL/BR/ES), and the Russian one. That means there will be two groups of winners, 2 finals live streams and 2 contests.

 

Prizes (for each teammate)

 

• 1st place: 50 000 crystals, 50 units of each supply, 20 gold boxes, Spider S-A* resistance module with 50% mine resistance.

C'mon Tanki, 50 supplies, thats taking the micky. Even on average parkour sessions we use more. The only thing that makes it worthwhile is the paint. :/

@Cedric Debono please answer my questions:

 

1- Does this mean that I can have a team of 4 players, but I can ask someone (who is not a part of the team) to record a video for me and edit it?

 

2- If my video is 60 seconds long, is it okay?

 

3- What does this mean? Does this mean that my video should have their names seen clearly just as it would be seen from a tank? Or does this mean that I have to edit and write their names in the video?
