New Maps - Catching Golds: Wasp Style

Deck-9, Magadan and Canyon

The new maps have been added to the game and people are already having fun playing them with their friends. Let's discuss "How to catch the gold box in all 3 of these maps using Wasp."

Deck-9

Black Lines Represent Drop Zones

While the Red Lines Represent Where you should Jump from while using Wasp.

The two drop zones are quite similar. Most people believe that standing at these ramps waiting for the gold to drop and then jumping is the best way to catch the gold. I don't think so...

The big ramps near both of the drop zones are the key to getting the golds that drop here. At the perfect time launch yourself from the ramps into the gold box. This will get you higher into the air than the people who are sitting and waiting on the ramps.Try it, I'm sure it'll help you in getting them.

:excl: Caution: Don't leave yourself open before the gold drops, there are always people that will try to kill you. So hide and then launch at the perfect time.

Again similar drop zones. There's not much a wasp can do to get these. I would suggest that you hide in those mini-cave like places to avoid getting shot and at the right time come out, shoot, get on a tank and take it.

:excl: Caution: There are chances of getting shot inside the caves so be careful!

On the exact opposite side of the house, there is another drop zone, at the same place as the one above.

Once again similar drop zones. Use the ramps which lead to the house (they are near the middle of the picture). At the perfect time, launch yourself while your turret facing backward. Shoot and take the gold while in mid-air. Surprise your enemies. ;)

:excl: Caution: Protect yourself, you might be targeted/shot.

There we have it! All of the drop zones of Deck-9 explained.

Magadan

The different colors represent different drop zones.

For the Black colored drop zones (near the middle of the map), use the ramps near them as a launching place. Drive while facing backward and shoot to give you better height in the air. For the two black drop zones EXACTLY in the middle, Tilt your tank a bit from the ramp and then launch. Since the ramps are pretty well-made, you can hide using them too.

For the Green colored drop zones (near the base of each team) hide near the ramp and use the little edges of the ramp (going forward from the bush on the edges) to jump for it, don't try to gain speed while going for it as you might fall off!

For the Orange drop zones (near the edges of the middle part of the map) there isn't much a wasp can do to get these.. Hide behind the ramps and use the old "Push! Method" to get the gold.

Canyon

Different colors represent different drop zones.

Near the middle of the map is a drop zone with a black line pointing towards it. There is a house near it, (if you are unable to see it, it is at the start of the purple line.) climb it and jump for the gold when it drops. Carefully get on the house! You might fall off because of the small gap between the house and white wall.

For the red drop zone (which is near the middle of the map), use the ramp near the blue flag to jump for it. Launch, shoot backward and easy take. Hide behind the ramp before the gold drops for cover.

The green drop zone is a really nice drop zone if you're on the red base. Hide behind the house and take it. If you're on the blue side hide near your flag and when it's dropping, jump from the ramp while shooting backward, time your jump as it might not work.

For the orange drop zone (which is in the red base), hide behind that cliff near it and take it. Again not much a wasp can do here.

The purple drop zone is a bit tricky and has a high chance of getting shot, the nearest safe hiding spot is the cliff near the orange drop zone. Hide there and carefully watching for your enemies, drive towards it.

For the blue drop zone, there is a ramp on the right side of it. Launch yourself from there while shooting backwards and you should do fine.

There we have it! Canyon drop zones explained.

Try out these tricks and see how well they work, I'm sure you'll be pleased.

This was my first article, Hope you guys enjoyed it ^_^

Goodbye!

For future reference, I'd advise using arrows rather than lines in your diagrams. As of right now, it's pretty hard to tell what the lines are supposed to be pointing at in some situations, since both sides of the lines are identical. The Bullet Points formatting tool might also be handy, as the list near the bottom of the article would look nicer with Bullet Points.

Overall, fairly decent article.  :P

I disagree with you on some of the Magadan positions.

My revised picture (red arrows indicating the best positions in my opinion):

You're right the higher the better for jumping, however you're more exposed, you might be shoot dead before you can reach the gold. It would depends of the current situation in battle I guess.
