Why not name shaft fear machine?

For me it looks more like poetry thank rap :p maybe I don't often see raps as a written form. But i did enjoy read it.

In the second pool you put I hate the thing, I don't hate shaft but I dislike it. (Hate is a big word)

I'm no expert at rap, but when I try to read it quick as if it was put to a beat, it's too choppy and doesn't have consistent flow stanza to stanza and even within some stanzas themselves. You notice these occasional breaks from the flow in rap music and that's great, although they can't happen all throughout.
