Completed Black Gold Box

We all are familiar with the Gold Boxes and you all know how excited we become when we listen the siren of Gold Box and the sentence "Gold Box will be drop soon" appears in its shining orange color (it's color is not shining, just a figure of speech)

 

But there is more to it. The truth is at my rank (Marshal) if I play a decent Polygon CP a Gold Box Drops at every 15-20 min. And with the new Gold Box Supplies in the Garage many tankers do countless Gold Box Rain.

 

I don't mean that it's not exciting now to catch a Gold Box, what I want to emphasize is totally opposite.

I merely meant that sighting of a Gold Box is not uncommon now.

 

So I wanted Tanki should add a Special Gold Box (Let's call it Black Gold Box for a while)

Like a normal Gold box drop at around 10k battle fund. Black Gold Box should drop around 100k battle fund.

And there should special protocols that should be initiated when it drops. LIke the no one can kill each other or the whole map goes dark or something like that. Just to make it more fun ^.^

 

 

That Black Gold may have any Special reward.

Benefits of having the Black Gold Box

 

#1 It will take the concept of Gold Boxes to the next level.

 

#2 Merely seeing the Black Gold will be as exciting as catching a normal Gold Box (probably more exciting) 

 

#3 You can imagine how wonderful it will fell if you catch one.

 

#4 People will play bigger match/maps just to see one Black Gold.

 

#5 It will increase the Overall playing time of tanki online to a great extent

I've seen plenty of ideas where people suggested special boxes containing a large amount of crystals or something special (like a paint or garage item).  It seems somewhat interesting, but I don't think it's worth wasting developers' time on. If it's going to be something extremely rare, then it's a waste of time developing something that only a handful of players will ever experience. More importantly, such a box is likely to cause more negativity that excitement, because players will complain that they never see it, that they can't catch it, that someone got it unfairly, that it distracts from gameplay, etc.

 

Special things are fun, but this game is about destroying enemy tanks, not farming boxes which fall from the sky, so if anything like this is to be added, I'd rather if it was something like a "boss battle", where players get a special reward for completing a difficult battle task.

I see what you mean. 100k is a bit too much and if someone catches it (in normal battle), everyone will be 100 times more upset than when you fail a normal gold box.

It is not necessary that the Black Gold Box is worth 100k, The reward can be anything.

The main idea is to have a new type of rare Gold Box

Hey I hav a few ideas;

 

1) I think it should be dropped in uncommon maps (maps where players don't play much)

 

2)It would not be dropped in EN 3 because it will decrease the ping & would be more functional because  almost all players play or spam  in EN 3 so it will be decreased.

 

3)I think it will be *The lucky box* & it will not fall from the sky.

 

4)It will not be accessable from shop it will be given my admins.

 

5)Everyone once in their gaming life from rank private to legend rank will get it (only once)exceptional players may get more.

 

6)It will contain  discounts on all garage items (discount will be 50% so sales ).

 

7) It will have a different paint.

Exactly, that's the whole reason I started this discussion.

Now there is not that much excitement of Gold Box.

But if a Black Gold Box drops then I will be excited <3

Maybe not 100k crystals but I like the idea, I  almost  wrote an idea the other day about Gold Box Tiers (redoing the whole dang thing) - so you can get more based on ranks kinda like micros. You could get bronze boxes from x rank to x rank silvrer etc. and when people dropped them it would drop based on that rank bracket. So if the lowest is warrant officer 4 then that rank will be able to get the highest rank it can play with. 

 

I was thinking more like MAX of 15-25k crystals.

Platinum Gold boxes 2K drop rate double of regular gold box

Gold box (Already in game)

Silver Box drop rate half rate of Gold box 500 Crystals

Bronze box 250 Crystals rate it falls less than half rate of regular gold

 

 

Crystal boxes maybe can return as 1-10 crystal boxes Dm only?  or any battle have 1 Drop zone aka Randomly drop on map rate every 1-60 seconds?

I made that Black Gold Box Video, uploaded it a week ago and it was scheduled to be on air yesterday :p

It was my idea, I started making this video when I had 250 subs back in January.

no place for gold box which has something big in it...as tanki developers still has no answer to how to control hackers who at time of gold box use different types of hacks to catch gold box.... so
