The Battle of the BB Guns

BANG!!

I ducked down low as a shot whizzed past me. First encounter. My partner, Ben, was right beside me returning fire with his rifle. I however, was in the midst of a fierce gang battle with three pistols. Against several AK rifles. I may look fierce with a pistol in my mouth, and two in my hands, but it was a lot worse in reality.

My G15 was a pistol that I promise was made B.C. It was inaccurate beyond measure, and it was only painful at point blank. 7 bullets. I kept that well tucked away in my left pocket where I could grab it if an emery spat in my face. Otherwise, might as well use it as a fork for my dinner. And fat lot of good it would do at that either.

In my hand I held my M59. A large-sized handgun, it was painful at quite a distance and moderately accurate, if shooting left at the same angle every time could be labeled accurate. It was the best I had, and at least would keep the fighters wary of sitting shooting at me like an open duck.

In my right pocket, my fingers always near, was my Mak. A very reliable, accurate, and trustworthy revolver, I had borrowed it off Ben knowing this dangerous mission would require all the firepower we could handle. Its pain level was moderate, but would do well in a standoff.

I flinched as another shot struck the fence and bounced off. Jumping up, I returned fire from both guns, straight after the other. That made them crouch back a bit. The AKs they and my partner were using were much more accurate and had extreme range and damage, not to mention the 600 bullet capacity. Yet reloading took a bit, whilst I could fire shots all day long.

Ben caught my attention. It was time to move in. I moved nearer to the north side of the safe house we had been held up in, whilst Ben raised his rifle for cover.

Three...two...one...I jumped over the fence in one swift motion and smoothly spun several bullets towards the open hut that my traitorous brother and pal were hiding in; Ben making sure they didn't peep out and try a pot shot. I narrowed my eyes, there was return fire coming at me as I hid behind a pillar on the opposite side of the road. But Euan and co. were pinned down, where was it coming from?

Ben jumped at me, and we rolled along in the grass and behind a wall, just as a grenade exploded where I had been sitting seconds before. That much metal would have been a pain to catch with my back. I breathed a sigh of relief, gave Ben a nod of thanks, then ran towards the neighboring street, giving a distraction for B to move to a safer position.

Then I saw them, 4 guys with a whole arsenal, firing as rapidly as you please. I returned fire with my M59. They ducked out of side and ran. I gave chase, we had to put a stop to this. It had been 15 minutes since go-time, and I was sweating like a mad pig. The noon sun was high in the sky, its rays beating down upon whoever dared stand in its path. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a barrel glinting in the sun. I squeezed my eyes shut and dived behind a convenient car nearby, just as the shot whizzed past my legs. I stayed there for some time, willing the attacker to go away. There was no way I could compete in an exchange fire against a rifle.

Finally, I dared to poke my head up and look around. All was clear. I moved in to the hut. Ben was taking some heavy fire from Euan and Ryan. They were concentrating on him, and him only. I moved closer. Then closer. Then closer...

FIREE!!!!!!!!! I yelled at the top of my lungs, then rained down bullets on the two gangers. They were taken completely by surprise. I managed to get 5 shots landed on them in total, pretty painful ones judging from their angry cries. Ben, grinning, took the moment of opportunity, aimed with half shut eyes, then squeezed the trigger. BAM. Ryan went down wailing, clutching his leg. I moved in. Euan hesitated, then lifted up Ryan and ran for cover. Seeing I would never be able to catch up alongside the swimming pool, I satisfied myself by sending a few shots after them. I turned back, pleased. Ben yelled a warning. I turned back startled, and got hit in the forehead.

Headshot.

The End.

For now.

So I continue my big bad BB gun series, of which I had done one before ;)  I decided to revive my AWC career.

Approved.

-Reformatted.

-Corrected minor spelling and grammar issues.

Good job! Nice and engaging, and not too long either. One thing that I suggest is that you link the previous parts, if any, to make the story a bit clearer.

And welcome back!  ;)

Its actually an rl incident. My BB stories come from there, I compose during battle :p

Still, highly unfair gun distribution as always..

Second bottom from the left, top row of the toolbar removes all that. Be warned, it does destroy any previous attempts at making everything look pretty. *cries in multiple rewrites of the Best of AWC articles*
