invalid Contest based on ratings

I figured out the way of how to make leaderboard/Ratings section useful.

• Basic idea

- You know how you have certain placement at the end of every rating week? I think we can make season out of it! This means player will fight for places in every season, making it worth of fight! There could be rewards as well but later on the topic.

• Basic improvement

1. Duration extended from 1 to 4 week
2. Name changed from "Ratings" to "Season contest"
3. Add "Season overview" button to main screen ( that will show your current placement in every section of season as well as "Top 10" players in every section and your overall Season contest score )

• Best Placement ( in (almost) any section, including: amount of EXP, CRY, GOLDS  ) and Rewards ( in (almost) any section, including: amount of EXP, CRY, GOLDS )

Gold ( 10 points ) - 1st position 100000 crystals + 100 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes ) + 1 gold box

Silver ( 8 points ) - 2nd position 75000 crystals + 75 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

Bronze ( 7 points ) - 3rd position 50000 crystals + 50 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

Platinum ( 5 pooints ) - 4th-20th position 30000 crystals + 30 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

Amethyst ( 4 points ) -21st-50th position 20000 crystals + 20 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

Opal ( 3 points ) - 51st-100th position 15000 crystals + 15 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

Ruby ( 2 points )  - 101st-500th position 10000 crystals + 10 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

Copper ( 1 point ) - 501st-1000th position 5000 crystals + 5 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

 

NOTE: These are only names not like leagues or anything, just name ( only my idea )

 

So these rewards would be payed out every month ( period of 28-31 days ) to top 1000 players. But. Rewards dont stack. Example. If 1 player ends up 1st at amount of EXP and gets 2nd in Gold boxes, he gets his best placement ( that way it would be 1st place and reward for his 1st place not both 1st and 2nd, only the best placement in any section). This way one player can get only 1 reward of the mentioned above.

• Bonus rewards ( for completed 1 entire season contest, including whole 12 seasons, not neccesarly meaning that you need to have Top 1000 placement in every season )

- After every season finished you recieve points for placement ( mentioned above )

- Those points stack and give you reward after 12 months - time for season contest to end ( Note: any low level players will no longer be low levels after 12 months so rewards are totaly balanced or atleast dont brake rank earnings )

- So here they are:

1. 100 points or more - 100000 crystals + 50 gold boxes
2. 75 points or more - 75000 crystals + 25 goldboxes
3. 50 points or more - 50000 crystals + 200 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )
4. 30 points or more - 30000 crystals + 100 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )
5. 20 points or more - 20000 crystals + 50 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )
6. 10 points or more - 10000 crystals + 25 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )
7. 5 points or more - 5000 crystals +10 of each supplie ( excluding goldboxes )

There is a major problem about this thing - when will the Season contest start? - It can start maybe from Januar 1st 2018 but regular seasons ( periods of 28 - 31 days ) could be started from September 1st developers find it likely to add this feature.

 

Important names:

• Season contest - inlcudes 12 seasons
• Season - includes competiton in 3 selections of game ( duration of 28 - 31 days, 1 month )
• Season points - they are given out at the end of every season, depending on your placement in each

- I saw rewards for achievements are planned so i have idea for new achievements that are conected to season:

• Achievements

1. King of the hill - finish 1st in Season
2. Master of the competition - finish 2nd in Season
3. Almost did it! - finish 3rd in Season

- Upper ones are for season, following are for Season contest:

1. Contest PRO - get more then 100 points in Season contest
2. Good progress! - get more then 75 points in Season contest
3. Keep on going! - get more then 50 points in Season contest

Thats about it! Maybe turn something you have in game, worth of fight for! By the way, please coment on this idea, Maf, i was making this for 1 hour please say something :P

Sounds very complex at the moment.. but the basic idea is nice.

I would keep the rating displayed on a weekly base like today, but still you could give your points and evaluations, and rate a couple of weeks in a row (which is maybe what you meant, but not what I understood from it :p)

Yeah like you try get as many points in 12 months as possible and as a reward for amount of points you get, you get your reward. That is for season contest rewards. It is very complex, i know, i tried to make it as simple as my idea in head was but it was hard to tell you that through typing :lol:

Then rewards should be lot smaller thats a thing and it is a question is it worth it ( then ).
