Declined Accessing main chat-box while in battle

There should be an option, a button, for this, to access the main chat box while we're in battle. The main chat box should be optional, whether we open it or not, while we're playing.

Battles are meant to be played, not a place to chat. If you want to chat, simply go out of the battle and go chat in the lobby chat, it is easy and it won't consume anyone's time. If this was to be implemented, we will see many many players who are just chatting instead of playing therefore multing.

I can see why you want this to be implemented, but it needs to be done differently. Wanting to post a link to your battle in chat or PM a friend is one thing, but having the whole chat available in the battle would be a massive distraction.

This would only boost the number of mults and half-hearted teammates in battles! You're essentially providing them with means of entertainment whilst still being in battle and chatting away, not contributing in the battle and doing so without breaking any rules! Imagine the role of BMs, they wouldn't possibly be able to pick out and ban a mult because they will simply say "I was using the chat-box." If you really want to chat to Tankers that badly, just use a third party source of communication (Skype, Discord, TS, etc.).
