How long TankiOnline will be up and running?

I think as long as there are casual gamers around, Tanki Online would still have enough money to keep their servers running.

People with average computers who play for like 30 minutes and then resume back to whatever else.

 

I like the game because of its simplicity and being able to get right into the action.

It's the perfect game to play between classes.

 

There were always been casual games around for as long as I can remember.

They have just evolved heavily in graphics etc but are still in essence there to kill time.

agree with  splitterpoint  . they said as long as there are players still playing and it brings in the money they will continue to support the game . but once the level of players drop.. then they will look into merging the game into tanki X .( which they did say they had plans on this back in Oct 15 2015 ) for now its a waiting game.. if this game does fold I feel it will be later this year closer to Sept after TO birthday..

Most probably 5-8 years at max since it is still loved for parkour and all + as technology gets better people tend to play much more highly graphical games like cod or Bf1

I started out playing quite enthusiastically but the ongoing mount of unnecessary and ******ed updates alterations and adjustments without solving any of the existing issues did it for me soon. An ongoing frustration. I was obviously too slow to notice Tanki is run by a bunch of inept developers profiting from unattended children with access to their parents credit card.

There are many better (and even free) online games around that are run properly. Tanki clearly isnt.

 

I would be delighted to see this bad apple removed as soon as possible.

Tanki is slowly but surely dying :p.

 

The player count has decreased by tons since 2013 

The player count won't increase as well since tanki is a 'old' game. Games that run on flash and etc are dying and games on platforms like steam and xbox/playstation are taking over.

 

Give a kid Fortnite and Tanki and the kid will 100% choose Fortnite because its more mainstream. 

 

Most of the updates are hated by the players as well. The only update that i've seen positive comments on is containers..
