Hope you guys too tested thees on test server, I am posting here for those who have not tested it yet.

It seems like we will have to upgrade single protections rather than being allowed to upgrade them as a whole module set.

 

In the turret descriptions, it refers to their characteristics as well as what distance range they are. In the hull descriptions, it mentions overdrives as well as it's classifications.

I think it makes more sense to upgrade the single protections instead of a combination of three, since you can make any possible combination with your single protections and you can change them whenever you want.

On test we have to MU each resistance separately, and they have 15 steps. (Hope you.ve also tested that)

and we have to click on activated or equipped resistance to remove it and then double click on desired resistance to add another

Just checked supplies and saw this, this is why my drone wasn't working,


One battery is used to operate drone once  :mellow: I wonder how much it will cost.

Just checked supplies and saw this, this is why my drone wasn't working,

One battery is used to operate drone once  :mellow: I wonder how much it will cost.

The drone's power seems to be equivalent to about 1 or 2 supplies, so I'd guess around 100 crystals per battery. Just pure guesswork though...

Drone power depends on the role of the drones. I could only test one (I wish now that I didn't spend so much time upgrading my M3 and selecting a paint). With assault drones when you kill a tank, all the supplies you had reset the timer to 0! So it's like you never used them - it's perfect to storm the enemy base however there is a cool down - if you kill during this cool down it's not recharged.

New Single Modules and the flexible Module

 

Looks like a close to final design for modules - I could upgrade the M3's from 35% to 50%. Mine modules (Spider) can be fitted with other uniqur module in the 3 slot flexible module - perfect for attackers  with close combat turrets (e.g. fire bird) against the massive use of mines left by OD or fleeing defenders: No cost added in the test severs therefore no information on the cost prior to the update. Notice the new icons for the turret.

I used about 10 batteries with Assault Drone in 2 battles.

 

The batteries in sale in the supplies drawer. Same here no cost revealed.

The Assault Drone

20 upgrades. The cooldown (a.k.a. Drone recharge time) stay the same (10 seconds) while the Active times bonus of supplies is increased from 5 (MU 0/20) to 10 sec (MU 20/20).

The Mechanic Drone

Same case with 20 upgrades. The cooldown (a.k.a. Drone recharge time) stay the same (30 seconds) while:

- HP bonus is increased from 100 HP (MU 0/20) to 500 HP (MU 20/20). => 5 folds.

- Healing radius (same type has OD) is increased from 10 mwter (MU 0/20) to 20 meters (MU 20/20). => It's double.

One of my favourite features about drones. Hopefully, they will be able to match animated paints.

Drones are meh with M4 equipment. Even Drones fully Mued (20/20) they don't bring much difference to the game. So I can imagine that when you only have one MU it will do virtually nothing.

Fort High ranks it is definitely a gimmick and crystal pit. So haters will not worry.

For low rank it would make a differences. So lover will love it.

 

Trooper drone consume one battery each time you spawn and at Max Mu it last 20 seconds. It is only useful under immediate danger: Spawn killing, Deathmatches and would be more-efficient when used on small maps.

 

Mechanics drone can give an extra when properly used but it is limited in distance and power. One Battery is used when you use a repair kit from your garage. And the 30s cooldown applies when you collect a repair kit drop.

 

Assault drone is power angry - one battery per minute. Once you kill a tank the already activated supplies get recharged. You have a cooldown after a kill.

It's a choice, yes. Although it's of course possible that some players might feel they have no choice but to buy drones to stay competitive. At this moment it is still too early to say how much advantage drones might give in battles though.

 

So what happens with legacy protection modules that have protection for four different turrets? I did pay money for the crystals to be able to afford the paint back in the day when paints and protection were bundled up.

They will be converted into single protection modules that you combine to any combination of three protections during battles. The precise details of the conversion are not known yet, but if your modules are worth more than the single modules you get after the conversion, the difference will be compensated for in the form of battery supplies for drones.

You buy equipment that use consumable in order to power another consumable that makes the current consumables more powerful!

 

Assault Drone is very power angry: one Battery per minute. You better use it when needed.

I feel like the drones and their batteries will make things 10x more complicated in the game.

It's not that complicated because it is all automatic and you can turn them on & off.
