Why TANKI=LIFE

So many people say that you get addicted to video games and how video games are bad, and I definitely have had a share of people direct that at me. But you probably want to hear what I have to say about how Tanki=Life. And it's not because I’m addicted to Tanki.

1. Everyone has their own certain build

We can’t all be a buyer really strategic person who can beat everyone with any turret/hull combination blindfolded. Just like how you can’t really be a lawyer and a doctor and a contractor and work all three jobs and expect to do the best in all of them. So there are some people who haven’t settled on one turret/hull combo (like my noob account) and it’s ok in M0, but it’s going to hurt once others have M1s and you’re that one guy stuck with a Hornet/Thunder M0 not microupgraded (my noob’s most used fail combo so don’t judge me hornet/thunder fans). Just like life. If you don’t know what you want to be when you’re 10, it doesn’t really matter except that the guy who knows is going to get a headstart. If you seriously can’t find your path in life by the time you’re expected to pay taxes and have a job, you’re going to be poor (stuck working at one fast food joint to the next) or you’re going to have to start your own company.

2. Paints are now for showing off how many crystals you have.

Some paints cost a lot but don’t even do anything but cover your tank with a design. Like expensive clothes and things like that. It’s just sad how they can’t lower the prices for the paints. But then again, I wouldn’t buy them. (Only got 3 paints – Idk why I bought white though)

3. Gold Boxes are like Black Friday

There’s always that Gold Hunter that pushes me out of the way when I finally find the drop spot of the gold box. Similarly, think of the real fights that occur when people rush for Black Friday sales. At least there’s another chance for the gold soon.

4. DM=Going to University

I’ve heard some tales about universities: grade curves, people crying during exams, people going mental, and the like. There are always success stories, but yeah, people tell you the scary ones to help you study up. So anyways, DM is the same. Everyone is there for themselves (except when there’s a group project). Then that’s when people team up against that one annoying drugger in the game. Fun Fact: There’s also no partial credit, so if you don’t kill someone and another tanker gets the kill, he gets all 10 exp, while you get none.

5. TDM/CTF/CP/ASL/RGB (team battles) are the same as getting a job in a company.

Thanks to matchmaking, we can’t choose our battles, which means the chances of being against a drugger super talented player increases. Also, your chances of playing with a mult tanker who can’t get a kill without getting killed 10 times. Same in the workplace. I always hear tales about pretty annoying employees who actually get paid a lot to do nothing. There are also people who work 24/7 to fix all the mistakes that the unskilled do or do the lazy guy’s work.

That's all I have for now.

First off, welcome to the AWS :). Hope to see you around more in the future. I'm gnat. if you have any questions about anything feel free to shoot me a PM. Anyways, back to the topic.

Edits:

  • Minor rephrasing in some spots. I tried to make your thoughts flow a tad more smoothly without changing your overall meaning.
  • A couple of grammar edits. You seem to have most grammar rules down though. Good on you (thumbup).
  • Formatting changes (changed font, added headers and stuff. Not very important tbh, just improves the readability. I'd suggest checking out newspaper pieces for formatting ideas in the future)

Approved!

Great first effort!  ^_^ My only bit of advice would be to maybe expand on your points a bit next time. Your current length works great for opinion pieces, but most readers want a bit more info. Keep it up though.

oh yeah, and another similarity. I suck at real life and I suck at Tanki .
