Let's discuss Battle Score, Rewards and EXP

Recommended Posts

With the Matchmaking update came the new battle score system that determines our battle rewards.

I'm also curious about the relation of both to EXP.

What do we know so far?

I suggest for others to take screen shots from before joining battles and then for the battle score, like I did, to analyze the score and reward system.

Battle score must be reworked.. It currently is the same killing a wasp m0 with killing a titan m3 with twins and all supplies enabled alone while you are cornered. However it is not simple to rework on it..

You also need to record the xp gain from the green bar (start and end of battle).

A player's reward is determined by their score divided by the total team score, multiplied by their team's share of the battlefund. It's then rounded down to the nearest whole number. Any remainders are totted up and given to the winner of your side.

In other words, if you score 50% of your team's score, you get 50% of your team's battlefund allocation.

similarly, score 10% of your team's total score and your reward is also 10% of your team's battlefund allocation.

Idk if you just made this up or not, but if this is true, and it makes sense, then this is a really good way of dividing funds. I actually really like the way they have changed how funds are divided in normal battles now. Well done taking math and making it easy to understand

I like the change in ASL. Now capturing a flag still gives a ridiculous amount of EXP. But it earns you 50 points in the battle. So know this is motivating to capture the flag, because you can get a lot of crystals.

Idk if you just made this up or not, but

Well it's easy to check. Use the above example in post #2.

Red side score total is 1755. Red side battlefund allocation is 1370.

Take player who came 2nd who scored 340 pts.

340/1755*1370 = 265.4131

Therefore player 2 gets 265 crystals and the remainder of 0.4131, and all the other remainders, go to the player who finished first on the red side.

Did you capture a flag?

I don't remember, here's another one:

Example 2

CTF

3-3, tied, I didn't capture any flags.

Oh yeah! That is a solution! What a joke! If the system cannot give me stats and I have to calculate them myself, then it is a deficient system. But you knew that, didn't you? Why do I have to do all this guess work? why can't Tanki give me the stats?

I have no idea why Tanki is not more transparent.
