Losing team gets overdrive quicker

This would prevent (for the most part) complete beatdowns and 5 minute battles. 

 

TDM - Losing by 15 kills to get buff

CTF - Losing by 3 flags to get buff

DM - KD worse than 0.33

CP - Losing by 15 points

RGB - Losing by 3 goals

ASL - I don't play ASL very often so I wouldn't know what's reasonable

JGR - illogical to add this, everyone has an equal chance of targeting the JGR

With the Introduction of the Driver drone, along with the different Overdrive recharge timings for each hull, some recharging quickly while other take long to get their Overdrive back, this Idea does not fit well any more in the current mechanics.

tbh i just think we should remove the ability to "boost" overdrive, everyone's overdrive takes exactly the same time to recharge. The reason for this is because right now the overdrive effect is self-sustaining. Even though you cant directly boost your own overdrive recharge while using overdrive (since boosting overdrive is disabled while you're using it), you can still use it to help your teammates, which means they get overdrive faster, which means they can use it and help other teammates get overdrive faster, who can than use the overdrive and help yet MORE people get their overdrive faster and so on and so forth, thus creating a positive-feedback loop where the effect (the bonuses you get from using overdrive) fuels the cause (overdrive getting recharged) So pretty much once one team gets an advantage over the other and gets early overdrive, it becomes much harder for the losing team to catch up, and increasingly so as the game goes on. That's not fair.
