Monthly and yearly missions - plus 2 super-special containers

I am so happy and exciting about the new update made to daily missions. Now players can enjoy participating and completing weekly missions just like completing an adventure quest. This update is amazing, but from my point of view, its not quite finished.

 

My suggestion is for developers to add monthly missions and yearly missions. For the monthly missions, players would need to complete 4 weeks in total to be able to complete their monthly missions. The reward size for the monthly missions would be four times the amount of weekly missions.

 

For yearly missions, players would have to successfully complete all 12 monthly missions. The reward size of the yearly missions would be 12 times the amount that players would earn for completing monthly missions.

 

Key: 52 weeks in 1 year - 12 months in 1 year.

 

By adding monthly and yearly missions, it would bring even bigger rewards at the end of each month and at the end of each year. The large reward size would be so rare that it would be less common than the removed (super missions), that players used to complete quite some time ago now.

 

Please, please, please developers - kindly add monthly and yearly missions. There are more spaces to add another two tabs to the missions interface, slots.

 

For containers, there will need to be another two types of super-special containers. That is, "monthly containers" and "yearly containers":

 

Monthly containers would consist of earning 1 or 2 containers depending on the mission type and or difficulty.

 

The yearly container would consist for players to earn only one container per year if players successfully complete their monthly missions.

 

Note: Please DO NOT decline this topic. Also, this is my idea, so please DO NOT merge this topic with other daily and weekly missions posted by others.

It's possible that this will be added in the currently unused "Challenges" tab in the missions menu, but I somewhat doubt it. You posted a similar idea before and I will repeat again what I said in that other topic: months and years are too lengthy time periods to be relevant in context of online games. Players will be discourage by the length of time it takes to complete them, and as a result the feature won't be popular.

At first, I was thinking that we were going to get only weekly 4 containers which we won't be able to get legendary paints etc. from them, but when I learnt the real, I really got shocked. Cos I never thought these devs would do this. I think there are new devs, who knows...

 

And about this idea, it's such great. As @Maf mentioned, it wouldn't be that popular since a year is a so long period. Nowadays, people are even trying to get to know if this game will stay alive for a long time or it will just die within a few months, that's why a year is a so long period. 

 

Instead of this, they can make league systems like in big games like CS: GO, LoL and like in a few small games like Tanki X (which is a new game).

Every league should last within max. 3 months, which you will try to get Reputation Points and which you will get lots of crystals, containers etc.

 

But of course, it must be hard to reach the highest league, which would include the biggest prizes. 

 

Anyway, what you mentioned is worth trying, a well-thought idea in my opinion.

In my opinion leagues are not good.

 

However, earning monthly and yearly containers would be a perfectly good idea, but still, I understand the tough challenge that players would have to go through to earn those difficult rewards. As Maf, explained, its true that there are quite a number of players that don't play Tanki Online every day. Adding more lengthy missions would be a good idea because they will bring challenging missions for players to complete.

I know what Maf said. There are still hopes for adding monthly missions though. I know that yearly missions are too long, but monthly missions would do.

Please Maf, find a suitable way for developers to add the monthly and yearly missions. Those would be extremely challenging similar to an adventure quest, but pleasing to players who are patient. I play Tanki Online every day, so I would never complain about the lengthy monthly and yearly missions.

Not a terrible idea. This may help keep players who have made significant progress for a yearly mission to keep grinding for them.

Yes, of course. This will keep players who have made significant progress for a yearly missions. This will also make players that don't play Tanki Online very often, play every day of the year without skipping a single day.

well it be like when ever u pass a quarter check point or a half way check point u get a reward like good amounts of crystals or gold boxes or containers to make them keep on goin

It's possible to have monthly missions with good rewards. Rewards would be containers. Yearly missions are possible too, but developers would have to think of a very suitable strategy to implement them in a suitable way so that players like them and manage to complete them without any difficult or struggle.

We can consider this implemented due to addition of Challenges. If you think about it, Challenges are basically the same as monthly missions. It's as if you get a mission to finish 500 battles in one month and the reward is a great container that gives you an XT item.

Yes, you're right. Challenges feels and behaves like monthly missions. That's correct because it takes around 1 month to complete challenges.

 

Yearly missions, developers would have to think and plan for a proper alternative so that it works properly in Tanki Online. That is, yearly missions must be a gradually and steadily increasing reward such as earning more crystals each month. That the end of the yearly mission, players would earn the top prize in crystals.
