Blaster drone only activates if enemies are nearby

I Just bought blaster drone and i really like it, what i don't like is that i lose alot of batteries without

The need to,  the drone should only be activated if there are nearby enemies and blowing up the

Tank will actually cause damage to enemies. otherwise i will burn through all the batteries i have super fast

Without actually having any return on using the drone.

The same logic applies to other drones in a sense that they just activate when the right conditions are met, rather than activating when they would be most useful. However, in case of Blaster I believe it could really use a buff. Either its recharge should be reduced to something like 10-15 seconds so that it works with every single death, or it should get the improvement you suggest, making its activation more useful.

You bought two drones that require dying to work and you're using Blaster with Titan and Twins, I think that's why it's not working for you, I would shelve that Drone until I get a Wasp and Fire or something.

I play mostly MM DM, now if mm sent me to medium and small map more often then the drone as is would be fine but MM is

Sending me to large maps which creates this problem i don't want to play with any light or medium hull titan is perfect for my

Play style beside I already mu'ed the drone to 10 steps so i can't really shelve it or given the burn rate of the batteries it

will shelve itself automatically

 

I don't know, on paper it seems OP, this is the one drone that gives splash turrets a HUGE advantage.

Under the right conditions it can be op but the right conditions present themselves once every 8 or 9 deaths.

A larger splash area when in larger maps could be the solution, but a smaller in smaller maps, to compensate

 

Sorry I gave you an idea that's good and bad at the same time.

Well in small maps the splash area is really tiny and for it to be effective i hug other tanks to get maximum results

But am not sure about larger splash damage since let us say you are in highways and a rail or shaft gets u from afar

A larger splash area will not do much unless there is some unlucky guy nearby  :D  :D  :D  :D  .
