Declined Groups can only join Team Deathmatch

If there's a really good group, that uses a lot of drugs and has fully upgraded gear, they can do a lot to wreck a battle. I've been in many such battles.

 

It's annoying, so how about restricting groups to playing against each other? Perhaps a special game mode only for groups?

Groups already play against each other. In any matchmaking battle if one team has a group, the other team is also guaranteed to have a group. It's a different story if one of the groups decides to leave as soon as they join, or one group is "pro", while the other is playing casually, but the fact is that the system is designed to always put two groups in opposite teams.

 

Limiting groups to a single (rather boring) game mode would ruin the feature and heavily affect the amount of players in Matchmaking and Tanki as a whole. It's not a viable option.

I agree with that, but I guess it's not seen as a necessity. Would be nice to highlight all group players with a different colour, like friends.

Now that devs want to make PRO Battles free, if true, maybe they can remove Groups from MM.
