I think that it will be gauss gun. The action principle of gauss gun is similar to railgun - the shell is accelerated by electromagnetic forcess. Both weapons are not laser or other type of energetic weapons.

Wait until shaft release then make dicision.

There is no specs but there are many info at forums that Shaft is railgun+ (railgun tier 2). Like Thunder is the tier 2 smoky etc.
