Whatever the cons, I don't really like it. Oil slicks will change the concept of the game (lose grip; how does that work?) as nothing in tanki at the moment is like it. It will have to be a totally new concept. I don't really like it, but I won't be complaining if its implemented.

tanki do not implement the bots. But it could be other people activating bots to play for them. And, anyway, a lot of those reasons you say could be not because of bots but because the person see the enemy as invisible or because they don't want boxes (don't laugh, it can happen). So its not necessarily tanki's fault. Or they could be lagging (yes, lagging uber badly, maybe unlikely but possible). So don't blame tanki, it might not be tanki whose fault it is.

from what i have seen, monkeymagic, you are saying freeze is OP'd compared to ric in short-range fights? if you respawn right next to the flag with a freeze getting it, then obviously your ric will lose. Why? Because freeze is a short-range high-damage weapon. Ric is a medium range large-damage weapon. freeze is made for close range, obviously it will win when you two are close together, are you asking for your ric to beat the freeze? That would be like Thunder beating you within your range with all shots hitting: ie, unfair.

^a lot of your points are to do with camping freezes. Camping freezes are annoying, but no sensible freeze camps. Honestly. When you are backs-to-walls defending a flag, get some teammates. Skilled teams defeat one freeze. Get skill and you defeat freezes. Honestly. Without teams, then obviously a freeze wins, with the damage advantage it has. My point above was that it doesn't have too much of a damage advantage (4 hp/sec is not much when richo has its range advantage).

^everything agreed, except the one about higher rating/drugging and freezing ability/bouncing off walls. All the uber druggers I have viewed, 75% are higher rating. And freezing ability is prooooo if used well, i find it hard to imagine bouncing ability used to better extent.
