Hahahahaha, yeah, there should have been english subtitles, but she's talking about 'pigs' and the 'chinese zodiac'.

1. Timing should usually not be a problem. Almost always the organizers will give you a date and a time (17:00 utc) but you can change the time by mutual agreement, so with your opponent. 2. Supplies is also a form of Skills, it adds an extra element to the game. I personally don't use cash and still have 1000s of supplies, saved from daily bonusses. If you don't have supplies your chances are narrowing yeah.. 3. Russians usually speak English. Some don't, but organizers have the ability to translate then. I know it says that Russian is the official language but past experiences have shown that English is accepted as well. If they refuse to speak English and the organizers are not helping either, you can contact the English eSports team for help. 4. That really depends on the amount of participants. Expect 8 matches before you are in the finals. 5. The tournament is created by the Russian eSports team. Therefore it's in the Russian forum. Having a tournament in 2 forums is a real pain. So instead of having registrations here as well, I decided to inform the English people of everything in this topic: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=361288 6. Feel free to post questions in the link I sent above 7. There are places on a map where you can only get through for example parkour. For example on a tall building. If you take the flag and you sit there where nobody can reach you because they don't have the needed parkour skills, it'll be an unfair match. That's why the rule is there. 8. According to the rules A double elimination system is a system in which a player that loses a match gets a second chance in the so-called "loser bracket". So, each match you win in the winner bracket gets you 50K, a win in the loser bracket gets you 25K. As you can see, double elimination starts in the 1/16 and further, so before that you won't get any prize. I think the tournament starts at 1/512, then 1/256, 1/128, 1/64, 1/32. After that, 1/16 will come with Double Elimination and then 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and the finals. 9. Good point. I will go after that.

Hi, I have been there during the preparations of this event so I know exactly what happened. Let me ask you first, have you ever seen a livestream from an eSports event? Because they happen all the time on this channel and you will also find The Arena there. The players that are playing are from the clans All Kind and Penguins, considerably the best 2 clans of our community. That being said, their players are known within the (eSports) community and thus also by the commentators, whose job it is to prepare anyway. So yes, of course the names were known in advance, you can litterally find them on their clanpages (All Kind - Penguins). In terms of knowing in advance what is going to happen it makes sense: The commentators have often been involved with eSports before so they know the ins and outs of the game and know what is usually happening. That is the case for drops, but also for expecting what is going to happen. That's called predictions not prerecorded. And that is exactly where you are contradicting yourself. If this was pre-taped we would have been able to fix the "system crash" or just redo the thing. Same goes for the 4th round missing, unfortunately the clans were not aware and they left already before they could be told to play a 4th round. That is what happened live. If it was prerecorded? We would have told them to play the next day the 4th round and we would just add that to what we would upload so there would be 4 rounds uploaded. So, yes, this was streamed live.

lol, I am not going into what happened in the match, you get my point

I like that part, because you are implying that I said that, and that is not what I said at all. That was 3 years ago and rules can change. On top of that, forummods cannot judge on that as good as battle mods, they can quote the "No-3rd-party-software" and that's what they did. I don't even know what to reply to that, it is so off-topic and those are theories that I really cannot be bothered with. This topic is created for the match and not to facilitate a discussion on 3rd party software. You should discuss the battle mod procedures with the battle mods admin.

Oh I didn't mean that. I meant 'if stas didn't use those features' in a general way, so 'if there are no features of hacking in ClientPlus, stas should keep the win'. Having software running that is doing hacks is enough proof. So let's put it like this: Client has hacks -> Stas DQ, Spy win Client has no hacks -> Stas won based on skill, so wins. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hmm, care to elaborate? Because it really isn't. Both are saying: If unfair match (cuz clientplus has hacks) = win for Spy

Spy VS stas - an objective look
joostcool replied to joostcool in Spy VS stas - an objective look Archive
Hey guys, I am noticing a bit of commotion around the Masters of Swords Solo match between Spy and stas. Stas has made use of ClientPlus and therefore, people say that Spy should advance to the finals. Good example of that is this video (Skip to 2:27!) That's why I decided to give an objective view on this matter, to make your view on this case broader than just videos or one-sided stories. A fact is that stas has made use of ClientPlus. People (such as the one in the vid) looked up statements from ex-forummods who say that it can get you blocked. So they want Spy to advance to the finals now. This is however wrong. People are reasoning from the question "Is ClientPlus allowed?". In reality, there are 2 questions: 1. Is ClientPlus allowed? 2. Does ClientPlus give you an unfair advantage during gameplay? (Hacks etc.) The first question is totally irrelevant for the eSports Team. Whether a client is allowed or not is the job of the Battle Mods to figure out. They'll then block people on their discretion. The second question is very important. If stas is able to gain an advantage through ClientPlus, he should lose the match and maybe even be disqualified from the tournament. So, how can Spy still win? By proving that ClientPlus can give an unfair advantage during gameplay. Not by proving that ClientPlus is forbidden by tanki to be used. There is no other way, because if stas did not make use of advantages, it cannot be qualified as an unfair match. Both players played based on pure skill then and that's exactly what we want in eSports. Even if tanki says that ClientPlus is forbidden to use, the best that can happen is that stas gets blocked, but Spy would still not be able to advance to the Finals; he lost in a fair way. Last basic points: - An autoclicker is not an unfair advantage during battles - This is how I would rule in Domination Series for example. The Russian eSports Team can rule differently - I based this on facts and logic, not on a bias. In fact, since Spy is fighting for EN, I'd love to see him in Finals, but only in a fair way obviously. - Spy did not say that stas has been hacking. He was just figuring out what the consequences of the use of ClientPlus are. Joost- 75 replies

[eSports Review] The Masters of the Sword - Penguins vs Biological Hazard
joostcool replied to Mr.Latvian in Newspaper Archive
As part of the coverage on English teams (and players) we want to provide, we decided that we need people who provide articles. With the agreement of the Russian eSports team, we get access to the matches and record them. Reporters (such as @Mr.Latvian) can then look at them and write their reviews about it. Those records are deleted after the review is done, to make sure that nobody gets a hand on in-depth tactics etc. That has been a requirement of the Russian eSports team as well. Later in the running we are planning to provide broadcasts in the English language as well. -
Let me correct those last 2 comments. These guys created a "club" as the team that won the LoP are not together in 1 clan. They are spread out over multiple clans. We however have no room in the forum for such a club and are afraid that once we allow this club, that more people will create such clubs. That is why I decided to turn this topic into a celebrations topic rather than a club. So the celebration was my initiative, not IDK's initiative
