  1. Please no. There is no 'best' weapon.
  2. You realise. The Thunder has insane damage for it's attack speed, AND it splashes on enemies as well? There's got to be some down points to the gun. So splash damage to yourself seems reasonable. Plus generally, you shouldn't be using Thunder at a range close enough to do damage to you. If you are, it's very occasional.

  6. ^ Well it seems those are the only things that actually do something well with Mammoth, apart from those there's nothing much Mammth is good for.
  7. Blake, try post the stats of the weapons :P
  8. Yeah, that'd be awesome. You should help me with guides from now on :)

    .::iNubCake::. [Guide Remake] Armours/Hulls

    Hey guys, iNubCake here again. This time I’m doing a guide on armours/hulls. Hope you enjoy and learn from this guide and don’t forget to leave some feedback on how I can improve in the future. So let’s start with the different types of armours Ok, there are 3 main types of armours, just like weapons. In the video, i just show you some combinations of weapons and armours I think work well together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qXu-5kSryA&feature=youtu.be Fast and Low HP: - ¬Wasp - Hornet Medium Speed and HP: - Hunter - Dictator - Viking Slow and High HP: - Titan - Mammoth Note that all armours HP and Speed can be increased by the use of either Double Armour or N2o. General Information: Wasp: This will be the first armour you start off with; this paired with the Smoky is the starting point of all TankiOnline users. The Wasp falls under the category of Fast and Low HP, which is exactly what it is. At lower level, this will be the main leader in for rushing, with speeds that outrun the Hunter and Titan. It is better used for flanking and catching the enemy off guard, rather than taking a battle straight up front, as the lack of HP will generally result in a loss. It is recommended to be used with the lower calibre weapons, and close range weapons such as Smoky and Firebird. In my opinion, probably the first armour you should upgrade if you’re thinking about it. Hunter: The Hunter was my armour of choice back when I first started, it has average HP and Speed, which means it doesn’t fall behind when chasing or doesn’t get caught, and it doesn’t get torn apart from a few shots. This armour is more suited for a ‘patrolling’ roll. Moving around the middle of the map, and has the capabilities of a front on battle. This armour is suited for every weapon; it is fast enough for close range weapons, stable enough for high recoil weapons and able to let off a few shots of the weaker weapons before it dies. Another good option to upgrade at lower levels. Titan: The name seems to say everything I’m going to say. This armour is a big, slow, high HP machine. I never really used this as I really couldn’t handle watching it slowly trudge it way to the places I wanted to go. Mainly used for camping/defending area’s or objectives, as it can be very hard to move/kill. In face to face combat, this will generally kill most armour at its level, being the massive HP monster it is. The weapons recommended would be anything that is medium/long range, not recommended that you put a close range weapon on this, as you’ll never catch the enemy and most likely die. Dictator: The Dictator is basically a beefed up Hunter, it has the same aspect that it is medium paced and has a decent amount of HP. This is probably one of the best armours (cost/effective) wise to get to M3. As it isn’t that expensive to get and has sweet stats at M3 level. Multi rolled armour, can be used for penetrating enemy bases, patrolling areas and defending objectives. Keep in mind that the Dictator and Titan are big tanks in size and you may be seen, even if hiding. Just like the Hunter, any weapon thrown onto the Dictator performs well. It has the speed to chase enemies and the HP to take a few decent hits. Hornet: This is another one of the more popular armours, as a lot of people love the quick speeds and agile driving on the Hornet. Generally used for patrolling and capturing the flag quickly. The only downsides to this armour are the slight lack of HP, and the unbalanced weight distribution. At high speeds, turning, attempt not to shoot while driving, as this will result in your tank flipping quite easily. This is great armour to get to M3 for a reasonable price. I know I’ve said in the past that you shouldn’t use the Railgun on the Hornet, and yes I’ve tried it. It can be used quite well, as long as you don’t shoot while turning. Attach to anything low recoil or close range for maximum effect. Try avoid head on fights, as low Health results in death most of the time. Viking: The Viking is probably an even more beefed up Dictator, it again has the same Medium Speed/Medium HP aspect to it and is probably my favourite armour to use. It doesn’t lack in speed and has a sweet amount of HP. As you may have seen in some of my videos, I just use this and the Thunder and it destroys everything. Well used for patrolling and camping, as well as rushing if you feel like it. Just note that the Viking is a bit flat, and you may not be able to shoot over certain walls or gaps. Great armour to get to M3 if you have the money to do it, if not, it is still good at lower levels. Can be used with any weapons and performs well, just like the Dictator and Hunter. This should be able to defeat most tanks in head on fights with its reasonable HP. Mammoth: The Mammoth is essentially an upgraded Titan. Slow, but has a HUGE amount of HP. Never liked the slower tanks personally, but at M3, it really isn’t that slow. Well used for defending an area or camping. It will win almost all head on confrontations with its extreme tanking abilities. It has the same trait as the Titan, having a very large body, so keep that in mind. Fully drugged Mammoths are virtually unstoppable; at M3 with Double Armour is 400HP. Use with long range weapons and medium ranged for maximum efficiency. Pretty costly to upgrade, but that is your choice. Soo, anyhoooooo. This concludes another guide by me; I hope I’ve helped in giving you information or helping your decisions for future purchases. Feel free to send me questions on Forums or just reply here. Don’t forget to comment feedback on how I can improve and also don’t forget suggestions for future guides. Thanks. Happy Tanking. iNubCake
  11. hahhaa, you like it? :P
  12. Ahh, must've been changed since i last used it. Never liked Shaft that much to be honest.

    .::iNubCakes Return::. [Remake Of Guides]

    Hey guys, iNubCake here, not sure if any of you remember me. But quite a while ago, I decided to take a break from TankiOnline, and now I’m back. Not sure if you want these, but I’m trying to rework some previous guides of mine with videos as well. So let’s see how this goes shall we? By the way, all these items are based on my garage so don’t be hating! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh68i3k2DXY&feature=youtu.be (Sorry about the quality of this video, new to rendering. I'll try to make future ones better) First of all there are 3 types of ranges for weapons Short: - Firebird - Freeze - Isida Medium: - Twins - Ricochet Long: - Railgun - Shaft Medium/Long: - Thunder - Smoky Note that, not all these ranges are the ones that have to be used. But recommended. General Information: Smoky: Ok, so this will be the first gun you will start off with, it is pretty much an all round gun, with decent damage, fire rate, range and fire speed. In many cases the Smoky is a much underrated gun as it can easily defeat one of the longer range more powerful guns. Can be used very well with all types of armours, light for rushing, medium for patrolling, heavy for defending. When using the Smoky, you generally want to try hit the enemy on the corners of their tank, this will therefore move the tank around making it considerably harder for them to hit you, especially when using long reload guns e.g Railgun and Shaft. Firebird: So now to the Firebird, this is relatively cheaper than the other guns and doesn’t lack in damage. At lower levels, this is probably the best weapon for close combat fighting with its extreme damage. The range on the firebird though may be a bit low; it’s actually larger than a lot of people think. Here’s a tip to see. Firstly you want to hold down “Page Up” until the camera view is directly above your tank. Now shoot, there area where the smoke reaches is the maximum range of the Firebird. This weapon is better used with a fast tank or extremely slow one, the fast is to rush the enemy and catch then off guard. If you choose to use the slower option, it’s better to sit back and wait for them to come to you. If you can, it is advised to try and circle your enemy while shooting them, this will make it much harder for them to hit you. Twins: Twins are probably the most annoying weapon I’ve had to play against, it has an extremely fast reload, good range from short to medium and the jolting effect it has on your tank can be devastating. It has average damage, but at close range will destroy most tanks. It has a decent price and can easily be bought for low levels for some quick kills. This gun can be attached to any body and will work fine, but it’s not recommended to attach to smaller tanks like Wasp, Hornet is fine. There isn’t much tactics I can talk about for this, but if you’re at Close/Medium range, try driving towards them while firing, this pressures the enemy and jolts their tank around making it very hard to aim. Railgun- The Railgun is an easy favourite weapon for people new to the game, with its high damage and cool graphic effects. It may seem like a strong gun, but you must get that first hit. If you miss you’re generally dead at lower levels. It has a horrible reload speed and turning speed at M0-M2. But at M3 it’s extremely deadly. At its level of weapon and armour 70% of the time it will kill the enemy. This changes dramatically when you reach higher levels. Attach to most hulls and this will do wonders for you. Heavy armours for camping, medium for patrolling and light for rushing, not recommended using with Wasp. It can be used with the Hornet quite well, but watch out when turning at high speeds and shooting at the same time as you will easily flip. Great for long range, as I’m pretty sure there is no damage drop off. Isida: This is also a very popular weapon for people looking for some easy Exp. and battle fund. It has the awesome ability to heal your team-mates when they’re damaged as well as the ability to drain some of the enemy’s health while you’re killing them. Great way to get Exp. And points as well as back up team-mates. Used well for close range generally on a medium/fast hull. Add Double Damage and Double Armour and this machine is unstoppable. Same with Firebird, try to circle enemy when at close range. Thunder: Easily my favourite weapon in the game. The upgrades may cost a bit, but I’ve never regretted it. The Thunder is essentially a large Smoky with splash damage, and a slightly slower reload. It’s great for all maps with its ability to hit enemy’s hiding behind objects with its splash damage. It’s great for killing packs of enemy’s with its splash damage. Although there is a down side, it may seem like the ‘perfect’ weapon through my description, but at close range it will turn into your worst enemy. The ability to splash damage will come back and bite you. If you shoot someone/something too close, the splash damage does damage to you, to some this may seem cool. Not giving the kill to the enemy. But I’d rather not die at all :P Attach this to any body and it should work fine. Freeze: The Freeze is the same deal with the Thunder. Where the Thunder is a pimped up Smoky, the Freeze is a pimped up Firebird. It has amazing damage up close and the special ability to slow down enemy’s while you’re ‘Freezing’ them. The only downside to this would be the slow reload/regain speed of ammo. Great for defending the flags as you can stop the enemy, and good for chasing down other people. Might be a bit costly again but makes up for it with sweet damage and a cool ability. Attack this to any hull and it will be a great weapon to play with. Ricochet: Ricochet would probably be my 2nd favourite gun, again the price is quite high, but my friend has it and it’s amazing. It can be used in most situations and can easily defeat enemy’s hiding behind objects. It has the unique ability for the ammunition to bounce off walls and objects to hit the enemy. It has a high fire rate to begin with, but if held down continuously the fire rate slows dramatically. Again, this can be attached to any hull and will work amazingly. Shaft: Shaft is currently the latest gun developed and put into the game. It has similarities to the Railgun, but overall is in a league of its own. It has the unique sniper scope when zoomed in, and the ability to charge your ‘laser’ to make it stronger and more unstable the longer you hold it. Damage is calculated by how long you hold it. If it’s held too long, it will just fire. A little tip is to try keeping it below the first bar, keeping it just under that bar until you see an enemy. Definitely not used for rushing and is a camping/defending weapon. Attach this to a heavy hull. Price is a quite hefty but that is compensated by the extreme damage possible. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ So this concludes the remake of my guide on weapons. Sorry again about the video quality. Please post feedback on comments and tell me if youse want more of these. If so, i'll remake the old guides, pimp them up, and don't be afraid to request an item/weapon/map guide, just message me :D iNubCake
