I find it very strange that you dont mention the disdain shown to the players by the game devs and the company in general. Perhaps you may have a vested interest? Players have left due to the rise in cost of the game and the constant changes. Be that the many many failed rebalances, introduction of new guns, turrets and paints: that always incur an additional payment uplift. So yes, a self inflicted decreased quality of product at ever inflated prices is why people have voted with their feet. It has nothing at all to do with the old tech or the move to Unity. Do you really buy into the party line the people in Perm feed you, or are you that deluded by your own reckoning? Yet one more in a long line of faux 'in the know' hired help, toeing the line for his 12 pieces of silver.

So you think that a loss of 60k daily players year on year is due to a lack of marketing?

What are your thoughts on the fact that daily playing numbers have fallen 50% in the last year? Do you have any explanation as to why half the amount of people now play Tanki on a daily basis?

you guys using firefox. if you have a 64 bit puter i suggest moving to waterfox. its a firefox variant specially designed for 64 bit machines. going forward there is also a 64 bit unity add on too. the increase in performance is highly noticeable! https://www.waterfoxproject.org/

I was a map maker (highways). There are so many reasons why this game has got worse and the fact that in the last 6 months a quarter of the players have quit. For my part, and I believe for many others - its because of the constant ability of the devs to try every trick in the book to squeeze every last $ from buyers. For example: When ever a major re-balance or en mass introduction of new turrets/paints occurs a full refund on crystals should take place, allowing players to re buy what items they want. The cost of buying has come down drastically in price over the years due to free deals and bonus etc. Its not the cost, its the underhand un-fair way the game is slanted. People are not stupid. Keep on cheating them and they walk away. On top of that we have had many major changes in gameplay, re-balances, new turrets and paints. Due to this the game hardly resembles what it was, even a year back. So in my opinion its the financial implications and gameplay thats changed a LOT for the worse, that have resulted in the drastic loss of players. Players are sick of being messed about by the devs. I predicted this decrease in players numbers to the devs 7 months or so back when they introduced (then changed their mind) the smart cooldowns.I also suggested that it wouldnt be unlike the devs to bring back the smart cooldown, yet with an underhand cost. As we know they were brought back but you must now buy a 'Pro pass' to play in or create a fully supplied battle. This is the type of underhand financial extortion I mentioned above.... Its been said by myself, and others many times. The tragedy is that Tanki devs now look at how they can change the game to make money first, then they look at the gameplay as the second item on the agenda. Yes its a business, but the core of any gaming business is the gameplay. When Tanki first started, it was all about the gameplay first. What a shame, it was really a great game...They need to get back to basics. Rant over. MM
