Otto_I - you are right about re-balance failing, I keep seeing WO5s playing agains Generalissimos. They now do not have an option to have thunder M3, or any weapon that can really make it possible to be competitive. They get slaughtered using their M1 combos - it is ridiculous. Where is the balance? I also feel sorry for new Rico users that need to wait to shoot, my favorite weapon I used for a full year is crap. Prolonged freeze slowdown is just killing the games pace. Rebalance is not an all around bad idea, it was just executed poorly. Some things are OP, some are crap. I really enjoyed my Viking/Rico/Spark combo, and although I have four M3 weapons and two hulls, I cannot make a combo that I enjoy as much. Whoever said ONE M3 weapon would be enough? And new players will play for what, 2 years to get that one M3 gun/body combo? They will rather quit. Prices rose in rebalance and now fund is cut by half. Do they expect people will pay hundreds of dollars to play crippled tanki? Wrong again.

It is sad what has become of tanki online. I am looking at the alternativa platform website, there is nothing really new going on there, for the last two or three years. Tanki 2.0 launch failed big time, and now it seems mismanagement is catching up with them.

A new battle finding system that would enable a player to browse through all battles on all servers, I am tired of seeing kungur, silence and iran maps everywhere. A system that would enable you to find an actual CP games or no-supplies battle you would want to join. Also, I would like to pick a map first, click on "Join Battle" and THEN be able to pick up hull, gun and paint. I hate it when the spot I wanted is filled while I am changing. Fix lags and bugs. Add new hulls and guns. Stop making the game worse, try doing something clever instead.

Smoky is too luck based I feel, I swear out loud every time when it hits me once with critical and kills me at decent health.

Make it completely random, heck you can add 10s 50s and 100s to fall in all over the map, problem would be solved. Just don't make it get stuck on the top of the building - that would be annoying as hell. Gold is generally a good thing but it does attract gold diggers who will ruin a game by camping in one stupid spot, such as a tunnel in Iran.

So it is gone? You cannot fix it and bring it back?

Not really, people may want to play with their friends who are of different rank. But, a better battles browsing system is needed (it was promised for 2.0) - people should be able to find battles by different criteria, regardless of which servers they are on. For instance, as a Marshal, if I join server 24, I often have a choice of 3-4 battles that are suited for my rank. If I want to play some map that is rarely played, such as 2042 or Industrial Zone, I would have to connect to one server at a time to manually search for it.

I play Kungur a lot, and see very few Dictators there. IMO Hornet + Freeze is very good, also Isida and Twins work well, Twins may require a heavier hull, although it can be used on Kungur with Hornet as well. I have Thunder M3 and never play it on Kungur, it seems less fun than Isida/Hornet, and Rail seems to be more efficient weapon on such a large map. Thunder can work well and serve its purpose, I just don't seem to find my way around Kungur with it... it seems to work best as a flag defender, along with Smoky.

Thunder is not useless, you may be unlucky there, or may need to improve your skills. Emerald is still very popular, that also may change over time.

I have Thunder M3, Isida M3, Hornet M3, Titan M2 and Emerald paint. I want to get one or two more M3 weapons, top candidates are: Twins, Smoky and Rail. Does anybody have first hand experience with them? Maps are almost all - Kungur, Serpuhov, Sandbox...

Well, everything has changed. Thunder is used the most, also freeze, isida, shaft... I dunno why rail is not so popular. Popular paits are anti-thunder obv. so Emerald is a huge hit, maybe you can get Rustle? Mammoth M2 is very good and you can get it as Major. Thunder M2 is very good, you can get Isida, Freeze and Hunter to go with it - it is quite fast. I am not sure about Dictator M2, Viking M2 is better, will soon be available. Maybe Hornet M2 is good to have to go with Isida and Freeze.
