1st huge blind spots turn slow turn radius fully charge 2nd why are running in the open? I'm certain you wouldn't do this with a rail or thunder pointing at you. 3rd you wouldn't rush a rail or thunder with a melee by you're self why do it against a shaft? 4th it takes a while to reload so their is you're chance. 5th 1-3 shaft anywhere is no different than 1-3 rail guns in the same place the rail guns are worse they can move. 6th ask you long ranged teammates to help you out duh. 7th awesome Shaft countering teams are very rare, wrong you're just playing with noobs. You keep comparing Shaft with Rail and Thunder - did you notice that nobody is complaining about them, it is all about Shaft? Most fully upgraded players CAN withstand 2 rail shots and 4 Thunder shots (all M3, not taking drugs into account). They, however cannot withstand a single fully powered Shaft shot (I know Mammoth can, talking about most players who don't drive Mammoth). So in essence we have one super weapon that's cost is justified by being OP. Yeah, you can deal with in most cases - eventually. But what you get when playing Serpuhov or Kungur (both of which I play a lot) is a lot more of annoying "oh I've been blown away by a hidden camper" moments. That IMO is ruining the game. Story about 2 nerfs is not true, it was nerfed once, and boosted later, so it is not OP like when it was launched, but it is pretty damn close.

You cannot dodge Shaft. Anyone who sais they can dodge or sneak up on him neglects a fact: what if there are 3 shafts in opposing team? And they are good? You get an annoying slug match, no point in it what so ever. You could counter that by awesome teamwork, but awesome Shaft countering teams are very rare. Solution: 1. Nerf the Shaft a little bit, 180 damage per shot is too much, and/or make it harder for him to shoot. 2. Give players the ability to start games without certain weapons/hulls. Remember those annoying guys who enter wasp/rail battles with mammoth/thunder? They could not do it if we had a simple option to check/uncheck what we want to see in our games.

That could be great, but with the rate things are added to the game it could happen some time in 2014?

I do not have a feeling that this is working, 50% of games I join are still ruined by cheaters!Is there not a system solution that will prevent 1 guy from taking 7 flags in under 1 minute? This should be a slam dunk, how can there not be a solution for something like that?????

Why do you need a quick reply? Tanki online 2.0 and crystal refund is months if not years away. Cheap but good combos are Hornet/Isida, Hornet/Rail Gun, but don't plan too far ahead, things in 2.0 could look very different.

as I recall, isida M0 is pretty weak, if you are good with rail it is better to upgrade it.

I would advise against buying Shaft, get your gear to M3, you have a good combo. Shaft M0 is not so good and it 800 crysyals, you would probably end up trying it out once or twice and not use it until you upgrade it.

I just cant see why everybody has been faking about blue triangles and clues. It seems that as time goes by Internet is used to spread disinformation rather than anything else.

There are no Octagons in Chernobyl, reactors are hexagons, and don't seem to do anything even if you fall inside. Maps Madness, Red Alert... seem to lead nowhere. If the game crashes too much, try disabling hardware acceleration an try playing that way for a day. Maybe that is the reason for your Flash player crashing. Or better yet, switch your browser (Opera seems to work better than Google Chrome for instance). I am wondering if Intel Graphics Media Accelerators are supported - most cheaper laptops have them, but it does not seem to work?

i'd go for freeze or rico, one of those two, later upgrade the same to m3.

I expected the warning message to be among the frags (top-right), a yellow message there would be noticed more easily (distinguishable among white, green, red and blue text). Tons of people still miss the message because they don't read who got flag, captured it and so on. It is a step in right direction obviously. :)

Just wondering why rigged voting is tolerated by TO crew. It is obvious that these 3 entries are not that good (are they good at all??) and that nobody has 300 friends in Tanki Online. Are you checking IP addresses of these voters? Obviously most of these people's efforts are in vain - cheaters will get crystals. I know that staff will award bigger prizes, but why are we voting anyway if 3-4 people will cheat their way to the top? My 2 cents.

I would get Hornet M3, because it works great with Isida, Freeze, Shaft and Rico as well (not perfect cause of balance issues for Rico). 12k can be earned in a few months, and with a discount it can be 9k. I am curious, which weapon do you use most? I use Rico M3 with Dictator M3 and Spark paint, but I do not have all this other stuff. Well, 40k crystal worth I guess.

You are awarded crystals according to your performance, you need to win a match and/or be placed well to earn them. The scoring is based on your points that you get for every kill, flag return or flag capture, you can see score chart in game by pressing tab.
