Silence used to be the most common map before, now I rarely see it at any time on any server now. It's a shame.

I don't see what the problem is here. I've seen plenty people in matches trolling around in Wasps with Smokies, much less giant-killing guns which can wipe out anything in their field of view easily. Do we honestly complain about EVERYTHING here? (Your definition of noob must be skewed, M3 Shafts aren't what anyone would consider a "noob" weapon)

As an owner of an M2 Shaft, I will say that the Shaft is not overpowered at all unless you're blindly rushing into them over and over again (like on Silence, I snipe the same people popping up over and over again trying to get a shot at me). It has an extremely slow turning rate which can annoy any Shaft user, and if you're familar with basic flanking and strafing skills, a Shaft is no worry at all. If you can't beat them, join them! Just buy a shaft, learn its strengths and weaknesses, and you'll learn how to do with them. Oh, and if you're at a high enough rank where other people's Shafts can kill you in a shot, then you probably have enough crystals to get Jade or some other paint with protection against Shafts. No excuses. And I'll tell you what is really overpowered... a drugging M3 Mammoth with M3 Freeze at close range. :D

IMO this is a pointless thread. Whether anyone reads this thread or not, nothing is going to happen to the Rico. And there are other weapons far more powerful than the Rico *cough* M3 Shaft *cough* that could easily pick off any approaching Ricochet. P.S: If you hate Rico so much, get a long range weapon (if you don't have one) and stop charging into them. :roll:

It doesn't really matter what body you use. Any will do. I something use a Wasp. Why? It's at the other end of the scale compared to Mammoth. While that tank is a hulking behemoth with health up the wazoo, it is a huge target and you'll be targetted and killed very often unless you're either drugging or have an M2/M3 Shaft. Wasp on the other hand, is very small and a hard target to hit. I once joined a Silence with mostly high ranks (I'm only a 3rd Lt) with only Shaft and Wasp. It is such a small target, all the huge M3 Thunders tried to shoot at me through the gap in the wall and didn't even damage me. :lol: And when I was about to be overrun... I put nitro and ran to the next position. :-) I'm actually going to attempt this again and take a screenshot... :wink:

How do you know that isn't a Ricochet?

A good idea would be to limit the amount of drugs a person can use at one time, so instead of using them all at the same time you can only use one. (this can also be with Repair, so you can only repair yourself if you aren't drugging) I hate druggers in Old Silence, the exposed ledge makes it unfair since druggers can just aim down and kill you every time you spawn :evil: Also Snyper, in the other thread, didn't you say you had M3 Thunder and Viking?
