I just noticed this today that when a teammate is on top of you while sniping, you are no longer forced out of scope mode. Thanks devs! One less chance for mults to annoy me.

I disagree. Railgun's penetration power was GREATLY INCREASED. I don't see how it was nerfed. Shaft?! Useless?! Give me another turret which can one-shot druggers.

Shaft for sniping. Smoky for mid-range. Freeze for short-range.

To be honest, I like the present version of smoky rather then the old one. In the old smoky, you could just shoot any tank and pray that you will get a critical hit, but in the present version, you actually need more skills to get up close to the opponent and timing your shots carefully for the fatal crit. If only the regular damage was a bit higher... 1600th POST!!!

Good for both attacking and healing until Major. After that you should just stick to healing unless you got the skills to do offense.

Shaft on Sandbox can be dead weight or game-changing teammate, it all depends on skill. Can't wait to get it M2. :wub:

Freeze and Isida get boring after a while .-. Smoky is really fun because you need both luck and timing to dominate. My Smoky M1 usually crits after 3-5 shots. Sandbox/Combe/Silence are really good maps for Smoky. Don't go for Stadium/Madness/Skyscrapers. Unless you want your critical hit to hurt as much as one Twins shot.

Smoky M2 or Shaft M2? I use Hornet M2 and my playstyle is usually offence. I usually play in Silence/Highland/Desert/Stadium I want a weapon that is effective against druggers wether or not I myself are using them. My reasons: Smoky M2--Epic rate of fire and common critical hits which can hurt in close-range. The range lets me down though. Shaft M2--Hurts, ALOT. Effective against M3s when used properly and the ability to one-hit any light hull in Tanki.
