    Lt.Tank-Marshall's Review Of Predictable Drops

Maybe, I haven't seen it, I don't know if they are close to being finished with the testing. I don't know what stage of testing it is in; I mean that I don't know the testing process. Mass testings could be one of the final stages of testing, allowing public opportunity to give ideas to fine tune it, or it could be one of the first stages.

    Lt.Tank-Marshall's Review Of Predictable Drops

Review By Lt.Tank-Marshall An Open Response To Test the Predictable Drops system! The distance the drop boxes are at is suitable, it is not too far away. i like how it becomes invisible when further away, so it does not ruin view of the map. Noticing the zones is easy, they should be a bit bigger if a big tank like dictator or mammoth is sitting on it. The zones are visible enough. I do not have any trouble seeing them at any brightness setting on my computer They are not really a distraction, but it does stand out of the map. I would suggest dimming the colors of the drop zone markers, or making them a watermark like style on the map so it does not interfere with the art of the map. Also, I would make the drop zone markers look like they were 'spray painted' onto the map, like having dripped paint, so it does not interfere with the artistic element of the map In smaller maps, it should be visible within only a close proximity, but in bigger maps, it should be visible from a little further away. Appearance of boxes On the higher value boxes, 10 crystals and higher, it is visible enough. But I have a bit of a problem differentiating the 1 and 5 boxes because the lighter colors blend in with their white labels and sometimes the skybox when higher in the air, especially on bright maps like Rio. I love the box's color spectrum, that was a good move There was an overwhelming amount of 20 boxes. Balance them out a little, 100 boxes should be more moderately rare, its too rare at it's current state EDIT: This seemed to have changed today, I am seeing much more variety in boxes, but theres still work to be done in this area Frequency of drop boxes I feel like boxes dropped less, but that could be in my mind, because I sometimes camp and wait for a box to drop at a certain spot, rather than before, i was never aware that boxes drop at specific places and I would run around looking for the box I need. I might have, I only use mines when I am being chased or i want to secure a spot, or sometimes offensively. I might have accidentally laid a mine on a zone. And I have never once went over a mine on a drop zone. I did not do any extra amount of fighting for boxes or zones, i have fought to secure zones, but because it was a good sniping position or it had cover, not because of the box. The only exception is when i fought for a gold box, or a 100 box. Other Things The 1 and 5 boxes are not appropriate for Tanki. Since Tanki prices are a base 10 system (Excluding MU's) Having 1 or 5 boxes would not be appropriate the way Tanki prices things. The Gold Box time between the warning and the drop seriously has to be decreased. There is nothing wrong with it's normal drop time. EDIT: Actually, it's tested drop time is perfect. It allows even the slower tanks to find the gold, and since most people instantly activate their supplies at the warning, it allows for skilled supply users to be able to effectively time their usage, because most of their supplies will run out by the time the gold box is visible. So, do not change this. I did not realize this until I was using slow mammoth. Also an experience on my lower ranked account while using Titan M1; the gold fell before I had a chance to move to drop zone NOTE: The test server has been experiencing many cases of fly-hacks The Verdict This is a good system. The idea was good, but it has it's flaws that can be ironed out. Please, share your thoughts on the quality of my review and respond to your thoughts of the content of the review. Vote for Cologne or Edinburgh

Sheesh, Just Keep Both, Because for the people who want cologne, and the people who want Edinburgh. And to those who don't like either, they don't have to play on the maps
