If you don't reserve your nickname, someone else can create an account with your nickname on Tanki X so you can't have that nickname anymore. Therefore it's important to reserve it now. :) In one of the V-LOGs they said they'll try to make your system requirements as low as possible.

I use gmail as well and got the mail instantly. I think there can be delays when all of a sudden a bunch of players tries to reserve their nicknames.

Try to link another email to your account. Try reserving your nickname. If you received the mail with your personal code to your new email-address, you can send that mail to your previous email-address and also link your account back to the original email-address.

Other players can't reserve your nickname. The mail will be sent to the email-address linked to your account and (I hope) only you have access to that email. The mail contains a personal code, so only you have got that specific code for your unique nickname.

You must enter your nickname, not your email-address. Since your email-account is linked to your TO account, the system knows to which email-address they need to send the mail.

Yes, you need to link an email to your account. How to bind an e-mail to your account? You must go to this special site. Enter your nickname and an e-mail will be sent to the email-address that's linked to your account. In the e-mail, you'll be given a personal code. Keep that code for yourself. It won't effect your current account.

Create some new email accounts. Link your other accounts to those new email accounts and your problem might be solved. Make sure every account is linked to another email.
