I don't think there's an annual sale in July, though last Summer Holidays there were a lot of unexpected discounts. I think the sale on the 4th of July is just a rumor, TO can always surprise us though. :P Ricochet is a very good choice I think. I've got Ricochet m1 on my alternative account and it's really OP. As for the hull, I think Ricochet fits most perfectly on Viking. With Hornet as your hull, I'd say Railgun. Thunder, Smoky and Ricochet are to be used on a medium or heavy hull, at least that's what I'm experiencing. Maybe the maps you mostly play in modify the choice. Railgun in small maps is rather useless. :P
