Found the below tables for Hornet m3 and Railgun m3 made by some unknown author at Russian forum, hats off to him/her. You can have an idea from those tables on how much MUs cost for other turrets and hulls. Hornet m3 Railgun m3 Edit: I've found out that the data is from the test server so it may not be accurate, use at your own risk! :)

@Quu2: The upgrades are micro but the prices are not. Each next step takes longer and costs more meanwhile the value being upgraded decreases. Seems that only the first 4 or 5 steps are the most effective and least time consuming (the cheapest) at the same time. There are some tables showing MU values and cost for hornet and railgun at the Russian forum already. The "official" tables are gonna be ready soon. Very unreasonable to upgrade cheap paints, it's always better to buy expensive paints instead. Finally, there's a video showing fully upgraded Rico m3 which was identical to "stock" Rico in terms of damage. Idk if the video is legit or not but it's said that it cost 1.5 million crystals to fully upgrade rico.

I got my first gold long after reaching the top rank, it wasn't easy in those days. My personal record is 3 golds out of 4 in a single battle, in about 30 minutes. You'll get many more for sure but you still have a looong way to go if you want to reach the top rank.
