Firebird m2 or hammer m2?

Alright so right now i have 50k crystals and i just unlocked firebird M2. People say on 6th june a discount will come with 50%. If this is true should i go for firebird M2 or should i buy a paint?

Im confused, if i shoot a wasp m1 with my m1 rail the wasp survives! EVEN with no protective paint railgun!. But if i go with wasp m1 with tundra i get 1 shot by rail m1
