Yes, I whole heartedly agree here. From TO's business perspective, their game didn't allow an awful lot of room for expansion. Placing the guns and hulls spread out, as they have done, does leaves that door WIDE open for them. Of course, in theory, expanding their game would attract a new crowd as well a please the old ones by not making things boring. I just think they don't have much experience with new updates. Take World of Tanks, for instance. The developers have become so used to updating their game that they update their game every month! They come up with big scale updates every few months. This is like about the third or fourth big scale update in about three or four years for TO! These guys are still novices at handling big scale stuff. Don't worry people, they have their interests at heart and, for their own good, will assuredly fix their game -- unless..... we..... ALL..... keep..... on..... playing..... it! -
Everyone will laugh! So I might as well do it first!     I love the Smoky!

Titan for me. I really missed parting with my old friend. Now I've got it back.

Which tanks you liked the most after the rebalance?

I've seen a lot of players - a LOT of players - going for the Mammoth with whatever combos suits there fancy. I personally love the Mammoths little forgotten brother, the Titan. It has a smaller profile. It is slightly faster. And currently, at my level, when paired with a smoky, I'm seriously reeking havoc on the battlefield! -

Okay, as a lower level player, this update was amazing. The chaos ingame is nothing short of hilarious. At my level I'm seeing a lot of shafts, thunders and ricos. Of course, all the newer players want to try out the guns they couldn't get before. Me personally, after derpping around with a few combos, wholly unsatisfied, I went back to my roots, Titan/Smoky. Now, I don't know how this combo will work in later ranks, but at the moment it kicks serious but! Players tend to have little respect for the smoky, even to this day, so when those little annoying shots hit them in the arse, they tend to ignore it. That's a bad idea! But, it's good for me. ;) Also, I love the Titan! The Mammoth has a little bit too big of a profile IMHO. But the Titan, with it's forward mounted gun, has to expose a minimal part of itself when shooting around the corner and the speed is more than competent when you need to duke back behind cover. Also, I've noticed that the Smoky doesn't bleed effectiveness at ranges over 120m nearly as much as the Thunder. While the Thunder has more dpm when closer than 120m. At ranges over 120m, the Smoky will be victorious vs a Thunder every time. All you Smoky lovers out there, have fun pinging people to death! -
Okay, I want to add a little bit of sanity to this complain-fest. The rebalance does not mean that all guns and hulls are as equally good! Tanki has always featured asymmetrical gameplay and it will be no different after the patch. What they have done is reworked the hulls and guns so that they would always be a viable option throughout ALL ranks. A classic example is the Hornet/Isida combo that all the cost savers know and love. Well, I have news for you, that is still, by far, the cheapest combination in the game! Yay! The Viking M3 won't get as much hp or speed as the M3 Dictator! I can expect many of you will scream bloody murder for that. However, does anyone not see that the Viking M3 is unlocked sooner and is cheaper as well? Furthermore, if people stick with the Viking/Thunder combo so common to the game, they will have no trouble at all with the Viking as it has a good chunk of health and tolerable speed. On the other hand, because the Dictator is so huge, not as sturdy as a Viking and has a rear mounted turret, it will be relegated to more of a dogfighting role where the ability to take one more hit from a M3 twins or to get it's fat arse around the corner a little bit faster may come in handy. ;) And that is just a couple examples I can come up with were they have gone for the asymmetrical approach to the rebalance. Some guns will sacrifice a bit of performance for less cost and the ability to be obtained earlier in the game, but are still a viable option against the slightly more powerful guns that will only appear at higher levels. It will just take a bit of skill! :) Finally, at the end of the day, I really don't want the guns and hulls to be equal. That would just be boring! It's the chaotic fights, as a result of asymmetrical game-play, which drew me into the game. Now, with the patch, I don't feel like going anywhere. ~SoL
