Alright…
I've seen many hate comments, videos and other stuff. Many people mad at Tanki for multiple reasons. And of course many staff members answering and defending tanki. So what can we say? Usual stuff!
The problem is on both side, as always. But this kind of problem is just human, nothing else.
Staff.These people develop a game, and suggest it to players. If the players like the game, they start playing it. If they don't, then they can leave the game! If they want to show the game staff that their updates are not wort it, than the best way to show it is just leaving the game without saying a word! If everyone would leave, devs will surely understand that the problem is maybe on their side, and they'll improve the game according to the player's preferences. Why? For money! Think a bit, developers are working in a an office exactly like all other people, they go there to work for their living, and not for childish games.
So basically play the game if you still like it. If not, go play WOT, LoL, RL, who cares? These are just ONLINE games, that are purely useless to you most of the time!
2. Players
These are VOLUNTEERS! Yes! Volunteers! Why? Because in Staff's view, you are working for them by playing their game (which makes them earn money), while you don't get paid! Which is the definition of 'volunteer'. So think about that, a game is a place where you just come, give something, and leave. Don't expect to get something from them, whatever happens. And I think that's the main problem of players (in any game). They become used to the game, and because of that they get disappointed when they see that they're not actually gaining anything here. And THAT's called ADDICTION. Obviously any game would like to be addicting, so you get more players--> More money. And that's pretty normal, it's just human, a human flaw, but still human. So once they are disappointed, who will they blame? The first person that looks like a staff, or, in other words, moderators.
These guys are often blamed for things that they haven't done, while the real authors are developers, whom it's pretty impossible to contact! So you may have guessed, complaints are useless.
Now that we know that complaints are useless, and that nobody asked you explicitly to be here, we know what a game is.
Wake up! This is a video game. People get used to make connections with real life, because it looks like it. Whatever the game looks like, it will always look like reality, because it IS really. A video game is something in real life, a piece of puzzle of the actual's society. If you want to spend time in that piece, then you will have to accept it forms, and trying to assemble it with other pieces that do not match is useless.
That's what it is.
