I think it would be a great feature and a new way to connect with players if you could have a wall. You can customize it, add a little bit about yourself, and be able to have "friends". This would be a feature on the tanki site, not the forums. For example, if you are on a team with someone and you'd like to meet them up and play with them later, but aren't comfortable with the idea of exchanging skype names, becoming friends on myspace, etc., you can become friends on the site! This feature would be optional, and you would be able to turn it off if you don't want to become social. None of the personal details would be shared. The layout might be something like this: sw33tnightmare_________________Here is your tank banner. (It shows your tank's avatar and your rank.) I couldn't figure out how to put it in, sorry. :?________________ THIS USER HAS ___ FRIENDS sw33tnightmare: This site has come a long way! I love it! USER: Hey we should play a game together. You're a really good attacker. Show me some tips! USER: Wow you were really good at that battle. I'm adding you as a friend so we can talk! sw33tnightmare: Bored out of my mind. Anyone want to play a game? Above is your wall. Players can post on it, and can use it to talk to you publicly. They would also be able to see your friends and ask for a friend request. When you get a friend request, you have an option to acccept it, deny it, or block the person and report them. Once you have 3 people report you, you are banned from this aspect of the site, first for an hour, then for five hours, then for a day, then for a week, then for a month, etc. I think this feature of the site would help people connect. Other players could post on your wall. You can comment on what they say. There would also be a button that is next to their name that says "Find Player". A box would pop up showing in what battle they are in, and it would show the battle stats (player's points and the battle statistics). If they are offline, it would say "This player, _______ is currently offline." In the settings, you could change if you wanted people to be able to find you. The settings could be Public (anyone can find you), Friends of Friends (only your friends and your friend's friends can find you), Friends (only your friends can find you), and Off (no one can find you).
