    Update 205 — New Physics

    Hey Orangebee, that is really interesting... probably explains a few things. Like, if you are in Australia, and you have a 400 ms ping to Russia, then the game feels terribly inconsistent. Many Russian's play Tanki in a lethargic style, as if it were a game of chess, hence why they probably enjoy the "speed up" I hate it because the speed of the game is now really inconsistent!

    Update 205 — New Physics

    Hello fellow Tanksters! My tank is a maxed out Hornet (typically with Isida or Firebird). I have a question about the "new" physics. It seems to me that now the tank itself turns FASTER, than the turret! How can the entire tank turn faster than the turret? Is this physics realistic? Is it deliberate? Or do players not notice this? Awaiting your reply.... (because I certainly don't feel like playing this mess anymore). PS: I started this post with a heap of swearing, but edited 3 times before I posted.

    Thanks to everyone for the feedback! I guess I can't play my favorite maps.... Iran & Kungur... might stick to Massacre until it is sorted.

    UPDATE: - Right now Server 9 has 553 tanks - My client enters Kungur game - 5 TCP connections on port 5222 Game hangs/disconnects after about 2 minutes of play! I still have 5 TCP connections on port 5222, and network traffic is being sent/received to/from the server. What other info do I need to provide to have someone seriously look at this problem? The game is currently unplayable.

    I love Tanki, but the latest release STILL has a major problem! Whenever I connect to a server with more than 1,000 tanks, then the game will freeze after about 2-3 minutes. I can still hear sounds, and the tanks spin around, but I am disconnected from the game. The browser still has a TCP connection to the server, but the server is NOT updating my client. It seems that the Russian players, which are close to the server (and have a very low ping time) do not experience this problem. I think that anyone from overseas, like myself has this problem. My ping times are around 400 ms. Also occasionally, the game says it has detected cheating, and incorrectly disconnects me from Iran. Can someone please look into the issue of the SERVER incorrectly disconnecting clients with a large ping time? Thank you, Medic_Tank PS: it is now happening on servers with 500-600 tanks!

    I am pretty sure this is a problem with the SERVER, not my PC, so I tried to gather some proof. I played Iran until the tanks froze, and I looked at the TCP connections to Tanki server. I still had 5 TCP connections to the Tanki server, on port 5223, but the server was not updating my game, tanks were spinning around. It is as if the SERVER forgot about my tank! I hope the DEVs read this info and do something about it.

    Today, tried to play Iran, after 1 minute tanks spinning and frozen.... Refreshed URL, after about 1 minute, sane thing.... game still unplayable.

    OK, I have conducted testing with the following Browsers and Flash versions, and the problem STILL persists: Firefox 14.0.1 Opera 12.01 Iron 20.0.1150.1 (this is the same as the latest version of Chrome) Flash Player 10.3.183.20 Flash Player 11.3.300.268 Flash Player 11.3.300.270 After about 4-5 minutes of playing, tanks spin around and I am not connected to the game, even though network traffic is still sent/received to/from the server. This problem makes Tanki unplayable for me. I shall stop playing the game, and come back in a week or two, and see if the problem is fixed. Cheers, Medic

    Hello again! I tried upgrading to latest version of Flash: Flash 11.3.300.270 PROBLEM STILL OCCURS! I will try downgrading to an earlier version and see if that helps....

    I am guessing it may have something to do with the network latency/ping. For example, the following ping to Server3 of about 400ms is normal for me: Pinging c3.tankionline.com [62.152.57.13] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 62.152.57.13: bytes=32 time=413ms TTL=42 Reply from 62.152.57.13: bytes=32 time=414ms TTL=42 Reply from 62.152.57.13: bytes=32 time=414ms TTL=42 Reply from 62.152.57.13: bytes=32 time=413ms TTL=42 ....And the problem is STILL happening with Firefox. Can people post their ping times, along with whether they are having the problem or not?

    After Release 1.99.00 has been applied on server.... I tried Iran just now with SRWare Iron Browser (it's based on Chromium code-base), but STILL problem occurs.

    Daslec: thanks for your prompt reply! I can confirm that the problem also occurs with Firefox 14.0.1, so I doubt that it uis a problem with the browser. Isn't EVERYONE having this problem? It make the game unplayble.

    I have just played a game using Opera browser, which does not use PPAPI like Chrome. The same problem has occurred.

    Hello! It would be nice if people kept to the topic about THIS problem, rather than post irrelevant dribble. I too have been experiencing this problem, for the last 3 days. I use either Chrome or Opera, very stable in the past, but both browsers now have this problem. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Play a game, then about about 4-5 minutes, all other tanks spin around. You can hear sounds, you can drive around, but you ARE disconnected from the game. You can SEND in-game chat, but you cannot see any chat. There is NO network lag, and data is STILL being sent/received to/from the server. I would really appreciate some useful suggestions regarding this problem. Currently the game is unplayable. Thank you.
