If you feel you have a lack of armor, my first choice would be to buy Isida M3. It's cheap and stronger than M3 which allows you to gain more self-healed HP. If you're a sniper, like said before, you'll have more fun using Thunder M3. If you just need some more speed you can take Hornet M3. Freeze is strong at M1, but M2 is almost the same. M3 is much stronger again but it will take you so long to do that, so I'd go for Freeze after you bought an M3 hull with one or two M3 turrets.

It might depend on your crystals. If you already have, or nearly already have enough for Hornet M3, you can save a little more and buy Wasp M2. It's very fun to play with, and if used correct, what is pretty hard, according to what Wasp users say, you'll also be very "strong" on the battlefield. I'd make sure you can buy Hornet if you rank up, because it's much better than m2 IMO. Wasp m2 is nearly equal to Hornet m2 looking at armor, but it has 1.0 m/s more than Hornet m3.

So funny to see that so many players hate every change, big or small. I'm on your side. People will now stop waiting the whole battle, and not just the Mammoths will not take every gold, they're big and strong, but even on nitro, you're not very fast. With a small, fast tank, you might simply jump on them, or with some luck get bugged when driving into his tank and putted on top of it which will make you take the gold. (That last thing happened to me, I was first but a guy bugged on top of my tank :()

Hornet m2 with Railgun m2 or Isida m3. But why do you want to know? It's gone, no turning back..

Watch it. Smoky can hit over the whole map, but if Madness comes back, try to kill someone with Smoky on the other side of it. You'll get mad because one shot will only do about 3 or 4 hp damage. _ Smoky m2 and m3 are more powerfull than you think. As it range is better, i'd go for Smoky later on, but somewhere until Colonel, Isida would win IMO.

"Don't compare to the past, look forward." If you compare it too before rebalance and updates 138 and 123 you'll find it no many crystals. But because of all these updates, 688 crystals IS A LOT! Get used to it, the past is no more.

Railgun is a very handy gun as its shots are very powerful. This gives you more time to upgrade it later on, so even on your rank Railgun is pretty strong. I've beaten many M2 Railgunners with my M1-M1 combo. (Hornet-Railgun) I see no reason for you why you shouldn't buy it, give it a go.

Mammoth is a hull which can handle quite some self-damage of Thunder, but this is unnecessary if you play small-medium maps mostly, because you can use Twins than. In bigger maps Twins is best placed as defender, combined with Mammoth, but with Thunder, you can, in big maps, also be in the mid-field. I'd say Twins is for more close combat fights, which appear in small and medium maps a lot, and Thunder in bigger maps. Ofcourse you can also play big maps with Twins and vice versa with Thunder.
