When someone takes something from your bank account, it is theft. With the economic re-structuring of Tanki the same thing has happened in our garages. It's not just a case of the buyers losing out - free players invest a lot of their time in the game, and this has a value of course. To see your hard - earned equipment gone (and then priced out of your reach), leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Same here - 2 hour battle and after refreshing I had zero points.

I had the same thing recently. My Freeze wouldn't do any damage to the enemy and I was killed several times. I left the battle and then re-entered - then everything was back to normal. Yesterday the same happened to an enemy tank who couldn't destroy me despite me being at very low health. There was no lag in either game, so it must be a TO glitch. I've seen this kind of thing happen a fair bit over the last couple of months.

A couple of days ago I was challenged to a battle in chat. This guy made the battle - 100 flags in silence. Usually I stay clear of these long battles because I don't like the risk of a technical problem such as 'connection closed by server' etc. However I didn't want to be a chicken, so I went with it. After 2 hours of constant killing and flag captures, I was the highest scorer with around 140 kills and about 50 flags. The nearest on kills was 39. Battle fund was around 1200, but I had to take a break for a couple of minutes and pressed P. I came back and re-spawned, but the tank wouldn't move. I refreshed, but when I came back I had zero points... 2 hours wasted ! Definitely felt that this game wasn't worth playing anymore. After a while, I just said to myself forget it and in future stick with my normal routine and avoid these never-ending battles. Another thing - let's say we had won and I got 1000 crystals. Due to the garage price X10 increase with 123, those crystals were actually worth the equivalent of only 100 old crystals which makes the loss more bearable. Tanki can still be fun (sometimes), but I just don't think about the battle fund anymore as it's such a low 'real value'.

I think they should get something for taking part - even if they do not capture 1 flag. Why ? - because we have all seen what happens when one team dominates... the losing players often leave because there is no reason for them to stay in the game. I have done it many times when our side is taking a hammering - I have better things to do than feed the winner's ego. It is not in Tanki Online's own interest to have disheartened players. It is healthy for the game to give some encouragement to both sides.

No, I'm not referring to the mental health of certain players... :) What I mean is the situation that arises when you are on your own at the start of a battle - then more and more players join the opposite team. In a short time I am being attacked by 4 or 5 tanks. What's happening ?? I know there is a process to keep teams balanced, but often it just doesn't work out that way.

It's a 'balancing' act pun intended :) Feed the little fishes a little food and they will stay around longer so the big fishes can come and gobble them up... That's the theory, but I've yet to see any real difference in crystal share. Like I said in another post, in a battle today none of the other side got a single crystal.

Thanks for that Secretguy. I see that changes were made to share out the crystals more fairly. The strange thing is that I have just left a Silence battle and the other side didn't receive a single crystal ! Maybe some changes have yet to be implemented ? I hope the losing sides start to get some crystals because they need an incentive to keep playing. In this particular game they did not get a single flag - but I still think they should have got some of the battlefund.

Played a 15 minute Cross CTF with M1 Smoky today. I was hitting M1 Wasps between 4 and 6 times at close / medium range before they died. This is how it went for most of the game - I was thinking that Smoky must have been nerfed. Then, a Hornet spawned in front of me and I went behind and shot at close range - one shot and he was gone ! So... just 1 critical hit in 15 minutes does not sound like much of an advantage at all... The game restarted, and it was the same - Smoky not taking them out. I switched to Rail M1 and won the game. That says everything :)

Battle fund increase X10. Price rise X10 = no change. Have I missed something ?

Some good news as far as I am concerned - running the latest maxthon Cloud browser I am able to rejoin the battle and get crystals when i get the message 'connection closed by server'. I tried the refresh button but this didn't work. I close the browser, then reopen it and use the history to open up the last page - I can then join the battle once more. Something strange did happen about 30 minutes ago - everybody lost connection to a Sandbox deathmatch, and when I rejoined there was just myself and 1 other player. The strange thing was he was invisible - and killed me 3 times. I knew he was there because I could see that crystals were being picked up. I hit the refresh button, but he still killed me again so I pressed pause and just waited for the end of the game. I got some crystals, so things worked out ok. When the new battle started, the players were going crazy at hyper speed ! Then they would slow down, then go like lightning again.... Some of the tanks could not see the enemy and things got pretty confusing. I decided to leave at this point. I hope the new servers will work out good.

'Connection closed by server' 3 times yesterday, and twice today when leading the points score.... it's becoming impossible to play. The Russians just keep on playing in the match and getting the crystals, and the rest of the world get kicked off the map.

I have heard something about this before. I read that a connection between Russia and Europe sometimes fails due to being overloaded.

DAMM... they've found me out lol. There goes my invasion plans... err I mean 'winning the battle for the hearts and minds of oppressed people that just happen to be sitting on vast resources needed by the West'...

So... not just me then :) I was really gutted tonight because there was around 60 or 70 crystals that I could almost touch... Everything was going good with no lag etc, so it was disappointing but that's the way it goes.

Played a 30 minute battle on Boombox which turned out to be a tense game as our team were outnumbered. Despite this, we were set to win, but 2 minutes before the end the screen went black and I got the dreaded message 'connection closed by server' . This was at exactly midnight London time, so I thought it might be the servers restarting but when I hit refresh, the Tanki website was not available. I tried the forum but this was down also. Anyone have the same problem ? Usually if the servers are restarting, the battle ends and the crystals are awarded, but this was weird...

Just returned to Tanki after a break, and I'm sad to see the result of 'rebalance'. I feel like a noob driving a noob tank. Mammoths are everywhere killing me... Previously, there was a sensible system of tank and weapon upgrades. It was progressive, easy to understand and fair. I presume these changes are to generate more income for the developers, because as far as the players were concerned things were pretty good. I can only think of the well - known saying : "If it is not broken, don't fix it".... But I think it's too late !

Hello, I have enjoyed playing many battles in the past, but I think the time has come to leave. It has become almost impossible to play the game... Over the last few weeks it has been very difficult to connect to the main log in page. I get the message 'connection closed by server'. I have to try about 10 times, then maybe if I am lucky I can connect. Sometimes the battle starts to load, then I am disconnected again ! There are other problems also - the dreaded CPU at 100% when using flash !! Of course, there is bad lag and freezing which means I can't help my friends in battle. A few months ago I went through my entire system, disabling services that were not necessary, running Auslogics Speed Boost, scanning for virus etc. I was able to improve reliability, but lag became a problem again. I was able to improve lag by playing the game in safe mode, but recently the lag and freezing became a problem again. I did a full system re-install, updated drivers and tried again in safe mode, but the problem is still there... There are many people having difficulty with CPU at 100% when using flash, and Adobe are very much aware of this issue, but seem unable to come up with an answer. I think flash is the main culprit here... Today, I have a new problem - 'error occurred in SQL' It stopped me from logging in several times. I have spent much of my time trying to work through all these problems, but I have finally admitted defeat. I hope that in the future things will improve, and then I will be back again :)
