I have been playing with a M1 Magnum alt for quite a while now, and I agree that it needs some nerf BUT, devs need to be careful to not make it underpowered like they did with several weapons in the past. They should make tiny steps, such as either increase the reloading time or decrease splash range, do not change both at first. Also I'm a big fan of the idea to change its damage mechanism, make the damage vary based on the Projectile's traveled distance, the bigger the distance, the more damage it does and vice-versa. This should discourage players suicide bombing with Magnum and play the big range game like its supposed to be.

since the update I have not been able to play the game, it keeps loading forever, anyone else have this problem?

I like Overdrive however I think it should be only INDIVIDUAL, when a bunch of players start boosting with team mates it turns the battle into a mess and not fun at all. This only gives an advantage to the team which are already winning and makes it impossible to come back. Also Overdrive shouldn't charge while you have it activated because again, it only gives an advantage to who are already winning.

Quad kill with Magnum

Awesome guide, really enjoyed reading it :D But there's a tip that I would like to give to Magnum players that wasn't covered on this guide: Master the 45° angle! Being the angle that shoots the farthest, this means that it takes less power to shoot on the same spot that any other angle tries to, this will save you time to kill enemies and even save yourself on 1v1 situations because you will hit the enemy faster than if you try to aim directly at him and do a 100% charged shot. When I play with Magnum I always keep the Turret at 45° angle when moving around the map.

This turret is so good to get double kills, love the giant splash. Max kills I got with one shot was a quad kill, I wonder if someone else here got a quad kill or even higher :rolleyes:

Yeah but the difference between the min damage and max damage of the magnum is way too much and it just gets worse on higher upgrades, look at M3 Magnum, min dmg of 1018 and max dmg of 2052, thats a 100% gap of difference and no other weapon come this close to random damage rolls.

I've hit enemies many times on low range 100% powered direct hits and it still does very low damage sometimes, also they did not have protection modules. Maybe this is a bug which I hope it is but if not then Magnum users will suffer from the randomness of the damage.

I love this Turret, been using this for almost a week now on a lower account and it seems very balanced. However there's one thing I don't like which is the damage variation gap, sometimes it does 700 dmg, sometimes 1000 dmg, this makes the user rely too much on luck which is bad in my opinion. I know most of the turrets have a damage variation as well but none of them are so random like the Magnum.

I like Railgun, its my favorite weapon and I got M1 but... too bad I wasted Crystals on Isida M2 when the rebalance came out, Isid is a good weapon but its boring to play with it for me :( Its so sad that I almost dont play on this acc anymore lol wish I buy'd Railgun M2 after rebalance...

I like Nintendo, even though I didn't played it much at my childhood, I play it nowadays on Emulator, the Gameplay is awesome and I don't give a sh*t about graphics, its all about Gameplay for me. Also Playstation consoles has very fun games too, especially Ps1 and Ps2, IMO Ps3 and Xbox360 are overrated(before you say it's because I never played on them, my older Brother has 3 Xbox360 consoles), it's all about Graphics and most games lacks Gameplay. So for me oldschool games FTW.
