A little late to be starting this topic, but to the heck with that! As the title says, what are some of the best April Fools Day jokes/pranks YOU have seen or heard of? The best one I heard of was back in the 1940's in North Carolina, USA when a town played a joke on it's residents stating that a 10,000 tonne German Battleship was steaming through the lake of that town. Even though it was April Fools Day and the newspapers even hinted that it was an April Fools Day joke, traffic was lined up for miles to see the "battleship" (Apparently, Americans back then were a little bit on the gullible side.) That was mine, are there any others?

Because Ebola is a disease that passes from blood to blood, the disease is highly infectious, but not very contagious. Fortunately, this is how it is with many non-contagious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer, and Rabies. Heck, if rabies was airborne, we would all be in serious trouble. But because Ebola is not airborne, it is less of a threat than diseases such as the Flu. Even though the news media has stopped mass coverage, people should still keep their heads up and be careful, the disease is still on the loose.
