The Punto switcher is a free program that is designed to help our work by switching the keyboard layout. It detects if you are typing in Russian or English and automatically switches the keyboard lay out accordingly. Now this is a program that you have to download and install in order to use it such that if you do not know what a Punto switcher is already, chances are that the message which appears in the chat room does not apply to you. It is used by people (players) who speak both Russian and English. So the punto is not something that is inbuilt in Tanki or your operating system as it appeared to be. That was the impression I got and I went searching through the settings for it. So we'll have to look else where to sort out our lag issues. :( If you're one of those who actually uses it, or do not know if your computer uses it, then click here for more information so you can compare with your PC. like i said, my internet connection cannot support tankionline anymore. i can hardly log on these days. once i heard of the Chinese version, i went to check it out and it plays well. there is some lag but i can bear with it well, that's until they implement rebalance. tanki was the best multiplayer game i knew that could run on this connection. after this, i guess I'll have to concentrate on work and get out more often

i was thinking about that the whole time. that there is no such thing as chinese, but instead there is mandarin, cantonese and some other dialect. just like some one said the chinese don't call their country china but some other name which i forgot. imagine someone asking do you speak british? instead of english? or belgian instead of ...

i read those threads about posting pictures but i couldn't get the actual image to appear here. instead i kept getting those links, i worry that the hosting site might delete them after sometime.

i am playing the chinese version since my connection cannot handle tankionline anymore. there are these 2 messages that keep popping up in the game. if anyone here knows chinese, please tell me what they say. i also noticed that after the first message appears, any crystals i collect do not add to my account. one time it looked like my crystals increased by one then reduced by one when i collected a crystal after that message. i had 55, then i thought i saw it change to 56 after a 5 second delay, when i looked again, it was 55! maybe i was just seeing things [/img] [/img]

I noticed some battles ending before the time on the clock runs out. the last time i was in one that was 30 minutes long and it ended after less that 15 minutes. how come? another thing, when viewing the battle list from the members area, a battle can have the clock run out of time but instead of resetting to the original time for a new match, the clock changes to 0:0-1 and remains like that why?

i've tried that but it doesn't actually highlight for one to see that it has higlighted. so i go ahead and do the Ctrl + C and most of the time it gets the players name instead of the message though i didn't highlight it.
