They reduced the damage slightly yes, but the most crippling change was reducing its damage at max distance from 50% to 25%.

Vulcan is very weak right now imo... at least at the lower upgrades, it can't even kill medium hulls without burning up... and that is without any paint! I think it needs a damage buff or should be able fire a few seconds longer before overheating.

One of my favorite turrets, I'll definitely be getting M2 in the upcoming sale, if I can rank in time... *cough* Highways *cough*

Twins is awesome after the latest balance update, its effective range is shorter, but its got DPS rivaling that of melee turrets.. but with unlimited ammo!

I was hoping they would add this to the game before the new year sale but that is looking less and less likely.

Agreed, it should also take less time to reload if you reload before you have used all 3 shots, like shaft with its charging.

I'd recommend you connect to servers using Standalone Flash, you can join even when they say they are full this way. (English servers are c37 and up.)

Most of the kits seem balanced, except the hull kit, mammoth viking and hunter at m2 are way too overpowered at that rank! EDIT: And the turret kit is also unbalanced, staff sergeants running around with m1 railgun 1 shotting everyone!

8 seconds of reload time really is too long... I think it should be reduced to 6 seconds or the damage should be increased so that it can 1 shot medium hulls of equal M.

Despite the halved freeze time this turret seems more effective to me after new physics... its a lot easier to flank people with the extra speed.
