That may just be because I wear dragon paint, and it takes seven direct shots from an m2 Rico to destroy my m1 wasp, but I also think the rico is a shadow of what it was before the rebalance; it was the ultimate weapon then because it had a cartridge twice the size of the current one, plus it did more damage per shot (and it didn't cost an arm and a leg either).

You know, I've changed my views about this whole thing, believe it or not. I'm not saying I've bought into the extortion scheme; I still dislike the economics change and the prices, etc. However, I previously ranted about this thing in an inflammable and, frankly, uninformed way. After being enlightened by some old timers such as Skitee and Nick and others, I've begun to see why the updates were what they were. I'm not going to write a book about it right here, but you guys should definitely do some research about what the game used to be, and why it changed, and where it's headed.

Great article skit. I've always wanted to know the history of tanki, especially from someone with as much experience as you. The only thing I find crazy about Smoky is that people who get the m3 modification pay 268600 crystals for 1 more hp/shot damage than the m2.

A decent place to snipe. More parkour than actual battling, but hey. It's even better if you have a mutant monster zombie tank with a double turret.

Oh well, it's not like your giving away classified info in telling people what your favorite sniping spots are. Most everybody knows where all the best sniping spots are in every map; this thread is just about which are your favorites and why :-)

You should try it out, see what you think. If they do spot you, you can hide behind that house right there. And, because you're on a higher level then they, their auto-aim doesn't work. Thus, any weapon is useless to extricate you from your cove. The only way to someone can kill you when you're sniping there is if they go back there themselves. However, as long as you remembered to lay a mine or two on the ledge, the only tanks that can come back there at all, will be blown to bits. It's arguably the most defensible spot of any map. You just have to watch out for rails and shafts that get pissed of and sit there waiting for you to poke your little head out. xD

Totally agree. I don't see the why Silence is such a favorite. In my opinion, it's just about as boring as Duel.
