    Ideas for Game Modes!

    The current system works this way: if you join a team battle, the rewards should be distributed by team. TO may not need to bound the team battle and the team rewards together. Instead, TO may give team battle more options for rewards. For example, 1) rewards by team - the winning team takes more rewards 2) rewards by person - the high score player gets more rewards no matter if he is on winning team or losing team. Please be advised that option 2 is MULTS-free for team battle. So players can play CTF/CTP/DM with a team, but the best player gets more rewards.

    However, MULTS has done a lot of damages if the cheating winning team takes most rewards. Some players may want to combine the CTF and the DM into a new non-MULTS battle. The idea is the rewards could also be distributed by personal scores even if you join a team battle.

    Team Death Match It is like the CTF battle, but the rewards will be split like a death match for all players. The team members can cover each other or cure each other. It is not like the current DM battle in which you can only count on yourself. If you are on the winning team, you may obtain a much better score with more rewards. However, if you are on the losing team, you can still get a fair rewards if you play well, and you don't need to worry about MULTS or sabotage.

Our team had been toppled over many times without seeing any nearby tanks and also being shot by an invisible rail-gun. Then someone said 'love.lisi' was doing an underground hack. I just want to bring it to TO's attention that the underground hack may still work for the hacker in noise map.

    Map Load Pending and Timeout

    I'm using standalone flash player It's taking a long time to join a battle for the first time everyday. After that joining a battle with the same map is much faster. It seems the game is updating the map for the first time visit on each day. If the map has been updated, it just downloads other players' data and starts the game quickly. The problem is, for the first time visit on each day, if I'm trying to join a 9 vs 10 battle, the loading process is usually taking a long time and it's very likely to get a timeout. However, if I create a new battle using the same map, I can always join the battle even the map update may take a while. My guess for this issue is when I joined a 9 vs 10 battle, the game might not reserve my seat while it's refreshing the map data, in the meantime someone joined the game and took my seat. After my client done map update, it found no seat for me and no where to go, so it's hanging there until timeout. BTW, I got the same error as it states in "http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=209486". My solution is - create a battle with the same map and try join one time, after that the map will be fine until next day.

    Balancing of turrets and hulls

    Tier 1 and Tier 2 used to be a brilliant idea. Everybody got nearly everything in tier 1 and then switched to tier 2 at a higher level. Now everybody just focuses on one or two weapons or hulls so they have to nerf them after a while in order to force player to buy others, and that fundamentally damaged the ecosystem of the game and buyer's trust on the future of their investment.

    In a previous update they changed Shaft to a super "railgun", now they want Shaft to flight like a Thunder. What're in their mind for Shaft? I'm not playing the game as much as I did since the update. Now I have more time to take care my other things.

    Refund may calm angry players for this moment but it won't resolve the fundamental issue: After a full refund, the crystals will be used to purchase some hulls and turrets with the current settings. Most other hulls and turrets will be ignored. It is still an unbalanced game. An unbalanced game has to be overhauled soon. Most people will be angry again if there's no refund next time. People who bought the crystals with the real money (I did in my main account) will be more cautious to invest more money due to the instability of the game. It is a loss-loss game for both players and the Tanki. Hornet is the kernel of current game eco-system. Railgun, Thunder, and Shaft are relying on killing more Hornets to score and win crystals. If most players are not using Hornets, the eco-system chain is broken. Nerfed railgun, Thunder and Shaft cannot kill Hunter, Dictator and Titan easily. So the game narrowed the options for everybody to play, and it will not be fun any more. -_-

  15. It seems Tanki has encountered a dilemma for sustainable development. It is not a good idea to overhaul the products every few months, which will confuse everybody – some of them save the crystals for months to upgrade their weapons or hulls, and it turns out what they have bought will not be what they wanted in a short term. People will be pissed off when they bought a Hornet, and it becomes a Hunter in a few months, which will be bad in the business. Many games did a sustainable growth by devaluing the old products, providing new product, and not raising the price for new players. If you want to discontinue an old product, then please give it a refund.

    Can I make a suggestion?

    I bought multi-scores pass and no-drug battle pass in my main account. But when there's a promotion for multi-scores pass and no-drug battle pass, I couldn' take the opportunity because the current one was not expired. Can Tanki give everybody the same promotion opportunity to buy the multi-scores pass and the no-drug battle pass? For example - buy a pass for future use?

    Frequently join & leave the battle

    I noticed some player frequently joined the battle and then left without any other actions. It lasted for HOURS. About 20% of the battle message are his joining and leaving. What went wrong? I could understand this situation for people who have a connection issue in a short time, but not a repeated action for a few hours. Is that kinda an attack in order to create lags? How he did that?

    Joined a big battle with my shaft. My D/L became 5 - the highest in the team - in about 10 minutes. My score was still low since others had played a long time. Then I got kicked out even I maintained the highest D/L in my team. Any comments? :)
  20. I think it is because you're so relying on fully charged power. A skillful Shaft player sometimes found it is more fun to estimate the remaining health and charge the power accordingly, sometimes just with a hit. Now this feature is almost gone. The shaft becomes a railgun with a much longer cooling down.

    Damage Per Minutes for New Physics

    I created a graph to compare the damage for M3 weapons. Twins seems still the best weapon. Twins and Railgun get improved after Smoky and Shaft were nerfed. Shaft was the weakest in non-sniper mode. It's much weaker now.

    Old Physics vs New Physics

    Shaft will likely lose in any 1 vs 1 combat, and will definitely lose in any 1 vs 2 combat, even against light-weight tanks. M1 railgun can easily shoot twice and kill a medium-weight tank with M3 shaft. Shaft has no improvement if you compare the changes in the following graph (output maximum damage per minute for M3 weapons):

    Re-balance is the only way to achieve new monetary policy - force everyone to rebuy weapons/hulls at doubled price

    Warning before you exit battle

    doesn't matter to me. I hope there's a warning when enemy is approaching me from behind ;)
