I give the flag only to people who are faster then me, but ye, that's impossible because I have wasp m3 :P When both teams have the flag and I'm waiting in base for returning, I give the flag to a heavy hull because they have more chance to survive the attacks trying to return.

Close Combat definately Isida, because of the self-healing you have way more chance to survive if you're under the gold, when your enemies are on longer range I think Smoky because it keeps his damage on long range and you have a chance of a lucky crit at the right moment, with this you can shoot someone just before they catch gold so you can grab it :)
