^ you need to check in game settings for graphic enhancement. click on "setting" and under the graphic option check all the option for better results.

I use chrome and yes on joining a battle,initially for few seconds there is fall in the fps but later it gets better. the problem with firing might be due to lags. try using another browser or clear your history and cookies and stuff
