A hacker is for me someone who is able to enter your account because he managed to crack your password due to his technical skills. ( I doubt that will happen on tanki since it is not worth it to spend time and resources on a single account) Someone who steals a account with scam and phishing sites and offers free crystals are scammer. ( Most of them have not the knowledge and ability of a hacker, so they use cheap tricks to steal accounts) Back to topic, i don't think there is a difference for your account security. Yes, because people share their password on those sites, but that is not hacking.
