    Episode 183 of the V-LOG has rolled out!

    The previous quick view system was fine and not hard to read at all. Looking at a few extra numbers as opposed to estimating multiple parameters from just one is much more effective. Also, paint rarity is useless for GS because we can see the paint in battle, whereas we can't see MU which is what the R button is for. I see players in battle who can't turn their turrets but have a legendary paint (and usually have a full M4 set)... I won't even bother to see their GS. Make GS based on point efficiency, something that actually relates to skill.

    Future of Tanki

    Tanki Online currently runs on Adobe Flash which will lose support in 2020. A few years ago the devs addressed this and mentioned transferring to Unity Web Player. This is pretty major and nothing has been said since. Anyone have news on this?

    Turret Balance, "Nuclear Energy" and More

    Initially, Vulcan was great because of the gyroscope effect and infinite ammo. Vulcan's time to overheat was fine before but also the overheat mechanic was less severe. It makes more sense to fix Vulcan's heating mechanic instead of making these other unnecessary changes. The turret takes too long to shoot making it virtually useless in DM and small maps. It seems everytime the devs attempt a rebalance, they screw up something else. How many rebalances a year have already occurred from their careless releases? Last time it was freeze's damage, then isida's healing score mechanic, then firebird's damage at low ranks... when will they act as a competent team. No wonder Seymon left. There is a huge issue with the gear score. Before, we could easily see the MU of equipment and the degree of protection for modules. Now, we have to estimate MU and drone MU from a number. It does not make any sense. I don't think anyone has complained about finding the 'strength' of someone's tank and this certainly makes me complain now. I also cannot figure out a reason as to why paint rarity has any contribution to the 'strength' of a tank. Just another useless update.

    Finally, a Vulcan buff. I was hoping to just revert the burning mechanic to the original, but maybe the longer time to overheat will compensate for this.
  5. You guys have only one burning mechanic for Firebird and Vulcan? Vulcan overheats just like someone getting hit by Firebird now. This seriously needs to get fixed, Vulcan is completely useless now.
  6. In MM, teams are created based on the strength of a tanker's garage. Can it be changed to a tankers efficiency or average score/minute? Too many times I am grouped with M4 tankers that don't know how to turn their turrets because MM favors the tank over the skill of the player. It sometimes makes very unbalanced battles. Please consider fixing this. Also, naming battles is great, but can you show the default name? It makes it hard to know the map in space mode, or if the battle is XP/BP format.
  7. A true Juggernaut mode should not award players who kill normal players. Change the scoring system to only track kills when a player is the Juggernaut, or even the time spent as Juggernaut. You can even put everyone else on 1 team. Juggernaut battles feel like DM battles because of people obsessed with their score.

    When the Matchmaking update came out, one of the major points was diversity in maps. If that's the case then why are there still about 10 maps that are available for play?

    Bugs and Glitches Reports [Closed]

    Since a couple weeks ago (after problems with groups arose), the servers have been extremely laggy. Not just NON-PRO, but PRO battles as well. Playing XP/BP the last couple of days is basically a lottery, some of the shots don't do damage. Overall, I can't play a battle without at least 3 lag spikes. Also, after every server restart, the game is unbearable for about 20 minutes. If you manage to get past the lag infested MM queue, you are lucky if you can do damage to anyone, let alone stay for more than 5 minutes before being greeting by a fatal error. The developers seriously need to prioritize what they are doing. They can't continue to add updates to an unfixed game, the bugs will just continue to compound until a complete overhaul is needed. Please fix the lag.

    Vulcan Glitch

    Sometimes when playing with Vulcan, the turret will stop dealing damage. This happens randomly. To fix it, I just stop shooting then restart shooting and I resume dealing damage everytime. It would be nice if it was fixed. I did not attach a video because of the sporadic nature of this glitch.

    Wow, nice VLOG. Flag paints are in the shop... did the $100 XT bundle not make the expected revenue for you guys? Also the blatant lag since matchmaking rolled out is still not addressed, yet updates continue to roll through. Looking forward to the next mess you guys call a VLOG.

  17. Great, isida does the most short range damage. Hmm... interesting change because it was not popular, now more people will buy and MU isida. This happened to vulcan, freeze, and hunter. I don't understand, the developers want to promote game balance, but the combination of pointless alterations and constant parameter changes says otherwise.

    The developers have not been shining in the recent updates so here is one that I believe many tankers would actually like. Many solutions have been thought of to alleviate the lengthy process of selecting the parts of your tank you would like to use in battle. I think I have made a solution to this. What if instead of selecting each part of your tank individually, you could make a 'preset' that would automatically have a combination set to your liking? For example, what if you had a button that you could click to automatically equip your favorite Capture Points tank: turret, hull, module, and paint? The idea: Combination Presets Add a simple tab in the garage (bottom right): When you click this tab, you will see all of your previously created presets. If you have none, you can create your own and give it a title: When you create your preset, you will see a small picture of your custom combination much like the pictures in kits in the shop. All you have to do is click the preset to equip all 4 parts of your tank. This will not replace the traditional equipment change process, where the equip button is used. It will just be an additional feature in the garage. Sorry for the poor picture edits, I did not put effort into them, they are just to illustrate the idea of the 'Presets'.

    Update 428 — Parameter tweaks and more

    This is a rebalance? Isida, a weapon designed for healing teammates, does almost 100 more damage than a vulcan, a machine gun? Seriously? Increasing the overheating time does not cancel this out whatsoever. I ponder as to what developers are considering a rebalance. If they actually took time to test and analyze these updates, unfair changes such as this can be avoided. Fix critical game bugs (like constant fatal errors and sudden lags) before you move on to game mechanics.
